@@mikeuk8486 well they are made for same thing and that is to prevent braid to cut guides and be cut. Daiwa's fuji guides are high quality but silicon carbide aka. sic isnt that bad. It have same purpose as fuji. But at the end fuji is used on more expensive rods and it is a bit better. But as i said they do the same thing.
Because normal ceramic guides are not rounded, so it destroys the fishing line with its edges. you know that the braided line will fade super quick after few cast when using normal ceramic guides, but that will happen very slowly with fuji sic maybe after a few weeks or months

Hell no! Ceramic guides dont destroy mono. Ceramic guides cant cut mono. Only braid can cut them thats why you use sic of fuji guides
