Thank you for this review, I just almost used this on my hair and did not know it was a bleaching product. I used a color depositing mask and it will absolutely not leave my hair! If you have any other suggestions id appreciate it!
I have always liked the Beyond the Zone radical color remover, but as I said in another comment I believe most color removers use different persulfate salts to remove the color which I suppose could be considered a "bleaching" type agent. But other than making my hair dry the Beyond the Zone Radical color remover has always been pretty effective and gentle.
I’m about to put this in my hair and am so mad because I told the girl at Sally’s I need color remover not bleach (had a professional fry my hair with bleach so I won’t bleach myself) but I’m trying to get red out of my hair and get back to my blonde and I just want to remove the red and can wait to go to salon for the blonde to be restored. I’m going to use the color off I’m just scared now dang it. I have very thick long hair and got two boxes. Fingers crossed I don’t mess up my hair dang it.
I’m a little late to this but I wanted to come on here and say, I hope your hairs okay! Also, the people who are hired at Sally’s are not certified or anything. I know a couple girls that got hired on, they aren’t licensed or anything. Definitely do research on the products you buy! I did cosmetology and if you ever have a question please don’t hesitate to ask! I know some stuff isn’t explained and if I don’t know the answer I will find it for you! Remember all hair is different ❤ I hope this helps and hope nobody thinks I’m trying to be mean or anything!!
I guess it depends on what you highlighted it with This color remover uses "gentle" bleaching ingredients so it will definitely lighten, dry out, and possibly damage the hair.
I believe I just used a low level bleach mixture like 10 vol. And I just use the salon care Sally's brand for bleach and developer....b/c it's cheap lol
Glad I watched this, I went into Sally's and I told her I was looking for a color remover without bleach... She told me this had no bleach....lieeeesssss😅 so so glad I watched before opening the box, I guess I should've researched first

I highlighted my hair 4 months ago and I wanted to remove it coz the highlight kinda damaged my hair. Does this product work ?
