+Dallin While for the most part I agree with you, in our case leaks are pretty much the only way we'll be able to go see it in theaters if we plan to do a blind commentary. We can't exactly record our reaction in the theater itself, and the DVD release won't be out until after the movie is no longer showing in theaters, so the only way to do a blind commentary and still see the movie in theaters would be for us to watch a leak now, then go get tickets to see the movie a second time in theaters.
Wait? Do manes grow in a straight line and then can be styled? Hmm.. well, my theory is that like a cutiemark, a mane is connected to ones core magic. Doing magical damage to a magical object can be very tricky to fix without altering the original magical item. Which also explains why even an alicorn can't help a mane and why that other mane shattered when it was seperated from its core magic. My core magic theory also explains Pinkie's hair. Her magic is strong and flows directly into her hair and body, allowing her to accomplish feats/4th wall breaking normally obtained through extreme magic This has been an over-analytical explanation by Caramel Chord
I dunno about the cloak thing. She had the hood up in broad daylight and nothing concealing her face and horn. I would think people could recognize her without the mane and tail. It's not like she had a creepy entrance in a dark alley at night.
