The one person who disliked this video probably threw his clippers away before watching the video. Now he's pissed. Great video short and to the point. Godspeed
After taking Apart my trimmers for cleaning and reassembling the trimmers they made a shit load of noise and really didn't cut. After watching your video I was able to fix the problem , thanks for video , well done.
Thank you for all the knowledge bro! You're not just saving me money you're helping me make a little side money! I'm new to barbering and it's really helping me get by until my clientele builds. Thank you for helping me pay my bills!!!!
What a great video! My Andis is 20 years old and i was wearing ear plugs and about to chuck it in the garbage but this video makes it clear why it is so noisy. Thank you!
This video really helped out my clippers and, while I have only tested them a couple of times, I think this adjustment keeps them from grabbing hair. Big thanks!
Dooope sheet papá. Eloquent. Informative. Thank you kind hearted gentleman. I love the Eddie Murphy Harlem Nights stache. God bless 🙏 stay healthy my friend 😊
I like this video, straight to the issue and problem solved, you helped me tremendously, without all the rambling nonsense like other TH-camrs... Peace Brother! Great Job
I tried the screw in the center & it work perfectly on one of my Masters but the other didn't quite fix the issue but it works just good enough. Thanks I really appreciate the responses.
Thank you so much! It was so annoying to hear that rattling by my ear all the time! Now I just need to buy a replacement screw which fell into a "black hole".
This seems to be a flaw in the design. I would get it if this happened to them after a decade of barbershop, regular use, but mine started doing this on the third time I ever used them. And these things aren't cheap, so why did I spend so much money to buy a pair of clippers that I have to repair this fast? Thanks for the video though, this saved me from trying to return them.
hi men, i bought a week a go andis fade master so when i turned on for first time the clipper vibrated a lot of so i I adjusted the tourniquet and the noise was less but the blade stopped moving so i cant cut hair noissless. can u help me please? may be i need adjust something but the andis fade master is new.
this happens allot with new masters. in this case the power screw under the cover have to be adjust as well to get the noise down and keep the power strong
amazing bro. very smart. i have another issue though. Even with the blades off completely, the metal near the magnetic coils rattle. Ive adjusted the side screw but it just gets loud and if i losen it up itll be quiet like it should BUT its not tight enough to actually vibrate the mechanism
chattering is usually an issue that can be fixed by adjusting the small power screw. turn that screw with a flat head screw driver. all the way to the right then slowly bring it back until chatter goes away or all the way the left then slowly bring it back until chatter goes away. try that then get back to me
ok there could be a few things. 1) clipper and blades can be clogged with dead skin, grease, gel, hair and grime. so just clean it out and oil blade well. or 2) if they were dropped recently the motor could have shift over slightly to close to magnetic arm. this will cause it to be on and not vibrate or move. you must clean it out ant oil the blade first then we can know its the magnetic arm. then we will take it from there
one other thing you always can send it to us if you cant fix it. also you can check and see if the coil part of the motor is all the way to the right of were it sit on the shaft. some times it will move over to the left and the magnetic arm will sit on the coil and not vibrate when turned on. try to push it all the way to the right
only thing i could say is you could send it to me and i can fix it for you. or one more thing. take the cover off and there is on screw in the center of the master you can go clock wise or the opposite direction to maybe change the tension. that may do it
T L the blade should be moving freely with out the blade chattering. if the blade slows down to much tension. to much loud vibration and chattering means tension to loose
what kind of clipper is it? if it did not come with a sponge it don't need a sponge. to make it quiet you need to make an adjustment. I can help you if you tell me the kind of clipper it is
I'm living outside of the USA and my Andis clipper is making crazy noise. I hear I need to put sponge inside of it to stop the noise. Do you know how this is done?
Hello...My masters has a problem with the bottom blade (moving blade) when I turn the clipper on the bottom blade has a tilt to the right which means that at the time the clipper is on the bottom blade doesn't run parallel to the top blade (non moving blade) Is this normal? when the clipper is closed with or without guards it cuts ok the problem is when I open the clipper with or without a guard it doesn't cut very good.. I have tried tilting the non moving blade a couple degrees to the right when its off so when I turn on the machine they run parallel but I have noticed that because of the tilt the right side moves more then the left side of the bottom blade which mean that the right side cuts more then the left... CAN YOU PLEASE HELP..
hi sir, this was my problem for a month since i get my master, when it was turn of the blades were parallel however when i turned it on the cutting blade tilted, so i tired to watch so many videos to fix this until i watched this short video and tried it on my master, it worked and now working silently with humming sound. I fixed it just now and its worth it, im from Philippines btw. :)
Hey keepitsharp My master cutting blade does not move straight left to right When I cut the power on it seems to drop down a little more on the right side of the moving blade How can I fix it to move evenly? Btw thanks for fixing my andis gtx I sent to you a while back from instagram
can you help there is a slight cleaning noise the motor is running at full power but there's a slight cleaning noise that's driving me crazy and I don't know how to stop it I've tried adjusting the tension screw the power screw and nothing
Thanks for instructions but I threw my clippers away. I cleaned it and the first blade wouldn't fit properly on the yoke and I tried everything but still wouldn't work. I rarely used the clippers but wanted to clean it and now I have to buy a new set.
Don't confuse this issue with the torque that makes it "rattle" loudly if not tuned correctly. Fine tuning the torque which is adjusted with the flathead screw above the screw with the two indentations on the side of the machine will fix most issues.
***** Hello, I have the loud sound problem and blades not mooving. I turned the screw on the side but if I turn it clockwise the noise appears and the blades are mooving strangely, but if I turn it back to the first point ( all the way anti clockwise) the sound is really quiet but the blades don't moove. Help please I would appreciate it forreal.
Eight years later, this video is still relevant!! It really solved my issue. Thank you!!
Cordless Andis master too loud?? Mine are n its driving me nuts. They dont chatter they are just too loud😩😩

What about the cordless ones?
You rule!! This was incredibly helpful. Cheers!
Thanks man, that noise was scaring my toddler!
Is this only for corded masters ???
hi men, i bought a week a go andis fade master so when i turned on for first time the clipper vibrated a lot of so i I adjusted the tourniquet and the noise was less but the blade stopped moving so i cant cut hair noissless. can u help me please? may be i need adjust something but the andis fade master is new.
this happens allot with new masters. in this case the power screw under the cover have to be adjust as well to get the noise down and keep the power strong
Wow saved me 80$ I was going to buy me a new pair Thanks

awesome video, short and to the point
Well it worked for one of my Masters. Any idea what else can cause this? I'm still having trouble with my other clipper, it chatters like crazy!
chattering is usually an issue that can be fixed by adjusting the small power screw. turn that screw with a flat head screw driver. all the way to the right then slowly bring it back until chatter goes away or all the way the left then slowly bring it back until chatter goes away. try that then get back to me
i need your help my andis t-outliner wont move its looks like itsss stock but its tryin to ove
ok there could be a few things.

My clippers where doing the same thing but after I fixed the buzzing it seems to be producing no power . Any suggestions please and thank you
are you saying that you adjusted the fork and they stopped buzzing
***** yeah mines are definitely just humming no vibration
that could be an issue with the power screw
+keepitsharp357 what if i adjusted the power screw and there is still no vibration? Just a humm
I'm having the same problem with my masters and I've tried this and it's still making that the same noise do you do repairs??
yes we do repairs you can send them in to us. you also can look at our mater tune up video. it could be the power screw
Hi, I did the what the video said and it's still making the loud noise ! Please help me fix it
Try this today and it worked thanks
We'll I tried both, spread the fork & installed a new blade & still chatters. Any other reason why this happens. Thanks
only thing i could say is you could send it to me and i can fix it for you. or one more thing. take the cover off and there is on screw in the center of the master you can go clock wise or the opposite direction to maybe change the tension. that may do it
How do you know when the tension is right on the Andis master, I constantly bother the tension screw on the inside of clipper, thx
T L the blade should be moving freely with out the blade chattering. if the blade slows down to much tension. to much loud vibration and chattering means tension to loose
what kind of clipper is it? if it did not come with a sponge it don't need a sponge. to make it quiet you need to make an adjustment. I can help you if you tell me the kind of clipper it is
Is it the same with the fade masters?
Yes
I'm living outside of the USA and my Andis clipper is making crazy noise. I hear I need to put sponge inside of it to stop the noise. Do you know how this is done?
You just saved my day. Thank you!
thank you thank you very much for sharing, i needed it!!!

Not sure. I will buy one and do a work up for it and do a video
my andis "model G", vibrates extremely hard at high frequencies but doesn't make and loud noises...
Dang worked like a charm, thanks buddy
Hey keepitsharp
My master cutting blade does not move straight left to right
When I cut the power on it seems to drop down a little more on the right side of the moving blade
How can I fix it to move evenly?
Btw thanks for fixing my andis gtx I sent to you a while back from instagram
can you help there is a slight cleaning noise the motor is running at full power but there's a slight cleaning noise that's driving me crazy and I don't know how to stop it I've tried adjusting the tension screw the power screw and nothing
clinging
cool little trick that works great. thanks man
Thanks for instructions but I threw my clippers away. I cleaned it and the first blade wouldn't fit properly on the yoke and I tried everything but still wouldn't work. I rarely used the clippers but wanted to clean it and now I have to buy a new set.
You are a genius. Thank you!
You've been a great help thanks
You sir are amazing 🙌

Thank you. Vibration ended with your fix.
your welcome
Thank you! Fixed my problem. :)
Your welcome
good explanation - thank you!
Mine fell down and it started making a very loud noise.
I also dropped my master and it started vibrating loud as hell. I tried your method with the prongs but it didnt seem to do anything
the magnetic coil is probly out of place it must always be adjusted after being droped
Thank you! Saving us 💰
