Diablo magazine's 2024 Threads of Hope - James Noe

Jim Noe has devoted countless hours to East Bay causes including Shelter Inc and St. Vincent dePaul of Contra Costa County. In addition to serving on the board - with six years as a president -Noe was instrumental in the creation of SVdP's free Dining Room in PIttsburgh, forging a partnership with Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa County that has led to 65,700 meals distributed yearly. He also developed the connections needed to popen the RotaCare Pittsburg Free Medical Clinic at SVdP, which has to date, seen more thatn 15,000 patients wihtou health insurance, raised moeny for a subsequenty clinic expansion; and helped facilitate the debut of the Dentis on Wheels Pittsburg Free Dental Clinic at SVdP during the COVID-19 pandemic
St. Vincent dePaul of Contra Costa County is based in Pittsburgh and is part of a global organization that supplies food, medical, and housing resources to those in need.

On December 12, 2024, Diablo magazine and the East Bay Leadership Council, along with event sponsors and the East Bay community, gathered at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek to celebrate the 2024 Threads of Hope honorees and to hear their stories live.
