Man, I’ve been a fireman for 16 years, fought structure fires and Wildland fires, been on burning roofs using a K12 saw, cut cars apart with the Jaws and, just like you, the power tool that makes me the most nervous is a damn table saw! 😂
    Appreciate the videos!

I appreciate the honesty John, the Smithing coming first. I really enjoy your videos. I loved the cheap anvil test and the bowie blade make...keep doing you John.m.

Yup. I totes prefer to watch someone who their priority is the product, and just happens to be videoing it.
I detest the whole ‘influencer’ mentality.

I believe there's a way to transfer from mild steel into high carbon steel it's called carburization

Hey John, i was just sitting here having some beers with myself as today is my birthday and I watched your video on the axes, I'm axe mad by the way. Then realised i won the second axe. I have never won anything in my life and I have been more than very keen to own something made by Old Hickory Forge. Please tell me this is correct lol.
    Cheers Dan.

Why didn't you try to forge weld tool steel faces on to them then rework the eye?
