From what I understand they just felt as though they'd done everything they wanted to/achieved everything they set out to accomplish and the band had run its course. It sucks but I suppose it's better than churning out forced music they might not have been completely happy with.
What are they all doing these days? Has the drummer gone back to carpentry, has the lead guitarist opened up a bar and the Bass player an air BNB? The keyboard player is probably working in marketing, and as for Ville he may have taken over his dad's business.
