    That formula does sound like it would be close to the Nag Champa smell.

    I agree that incense is a difficult accord to create and I'm open minded to the interpretation of "incense" but shouldn't it include some resins like frankincense, opoponax, styrax, labdanum or myrrh? I didn't see any of that in your formula.

      Sure, technically, but I think you can give an impression of incense without them. I love incense and I love resins but I think a lot of people who don't necessarily burn incense think of a more floral concept. It was a little experiment making an old formula sourced from the internet.
