The customer service towards the gentleman who recognised the sandwich preparer (or maybe vice versa) was above and beyond. Little things like this are noticed and make a massive difference to the customer experience.

The gentleman recognizing the prepper also improves the employee experience as well imo. Helps us feel less like robots.
i used to eat there 5 days a week. got to playing video games with some of the employees

I recently had JM's for the first time in almost three years since my brother past. It was hands down his favorite sandwich place to go to, it felt like he ate there once a week. So anytime someone offered to me something, it always felt weird and I turned it down. Now, almost three years since he past, I finally shared a JM philly with my father. And oh lord, it was so good. Probably one of the best philly's I've had outside of Philly.

Being from the east coast, Baltimore to be exact. I’ve had many Cheesesteaks especially from Philly. Now that I’m in California, Jersey Mike’s has been the only place to even come close to what I’m used to! 🔥🔥
After watching countless cheesesteak videos on TH-cam to research and being from CA, I came to the same conclusion.

My favorite sub is actually the 17 but I usually put mayo and bacon on it (the bacon really adds no flavor I just like the crunch) I recently just started grill and all my co workers say I go a bit aggressive when I’m on grill but this video helped me that I don’t need to slap the tools around to get the job done

I went to college on the east coast, and tbh I fell in love with Philly cheeses. Now living back in Washington, I only go to jersey mikes for the 43 😅

I just had one of those Jersey Mike’s Cheesesteak Sandwiches and I really like it.

Why am I watching this at night, now I am starving for a chicken Philly. Seriously Jersey Mike's is the only place where I will get a chicken over a steak philly and not because the steak is bad, it is delicious but because the chicken is that freaking good.
The chicken subs are super popular. Especially cause of the versatility in what u can make with them

That looks pretty tasty. No wonder Subway is failing. Blimpie slices there and meet fresh for each sandwich. Subway need to learn how to at least do that.
Subway just keeps getting worse and worse. The one by me doesn’t even open a lot of time because they can’t find people to work.

Subway has gotten rid of sourdough bread and pastrami and certain cheeses. I paid 15.00 for a new sub they have and not worth the price. Jersey Mike's is worth the money all day long!

That meat must come pre seasoned cause aint no way they not putting something else on that and the meat is so flavorful lol. Especially since i get mine without peppers and such and its still so delicious haha

great job, although why put the steaks on with the paper? when I worked there in high school & college, we dropped the steaks on without the paper...
also why does jersey mikes not use foil anymore for the hot subs? I've noticed this down here in NC too - when I worked there, all hot subs were wrapped in the paper and then in foil before putting them in the bag...
He might have done that if the paper sticks too much to the meat when cold or frozen. Perhaps? Either that or they tell him touching the meat and then touching the sliced brick of cheese afterward is cross contamination. Who knows? He might be in a lazy mood and just loves to work those tongs. I used to twirl tongs like a helicopter propeller. Myself? I can also flip two pie/cake plates, one in each hand simultaneously.

I always say the same thing! I tell them to put the cheese on the bread and add the steak on top. This way my cheese doesn’t end up all over the damn paper! 😂

No we don’t use any oil. The only time we do use oil is for the portobello subs.

Had a cheese steak sub from Mike's. Very disappointed. Hardly any steak mixture on it, and was way too expensive. Not worth it.

Ok. So I went to a Jersey Mikes for the first time and saw that a tiny little baby sandwich they have the nerve to call "Giant Size" is $18, so I walked right out. I have no desire to spend more than $20 after tax to still be hungry. Mind you.. I am short and skinny so I can only imagine how bigger and heavier people react to the embarrassing excuses for sandwiches that I saw. I went across the street to a gas station deli and got a sandwich twice as big for half the price and honestly tasted better than what I can imagine Jersey Mikes tasting like because beside the small portions and insane prices.. The place smelled like processed salami.. And a GAS STATION DELI smelled better. Don't waste your time even walking in to a Jersey Mikes unless you want to walk away still hungry and smelling like wet meat.

We leave the chz on there the correct amount of time what your looking for in your cheesesteak can only be accomplished by asking them to chop the cheese in with the meat resulting in a gooey cheese sandwich

There was never any hand contact with the meat, and since onions and peppers are considered"ready to eat" there is no glove change required. There is Jersey Mike's training videos if you would like to watch them, bc you obviously haven't! Cheese is also ready to eat.
