About AleXa:
The daughter of a Korean adoptee, AleXa was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A lifelong dancer, AleXa competed in “Rising Legends,” where nearly 1 million fan votes determined her the winner. Shortly after being signed to ZB Label, she beat out thousands of contestant hopefuls and was one of the 96 chosen to participate in Mnet’s “PRODUCE 48,” the most competitive audition show in Korea. AleXa exploded onto the scene with her multilingual debut, “Bomb," in October of 2019, breaking into the Top 10 of Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sales Chart” within its first week of release. In 2020, AleXa inked a deal with ICM Partners, home to an all-star roster of award-winning artists including Nicki Minaj and Khalid, to set a global debut in motion.

Ehhh it's very possible that she pre-recorded singing live, but she definitely wasn't during her dancing.... And there's nothing wrong with that.
I've been performing since elementary school, and there's just no way 🤣🤣🤣 no breath breaks at all, and she's moving? Very odd.
Also on top of that she was one of the few performers who danced the whole time while she was singing and she doesn’t half ass her dances. Meaning she’ll have a bigger back track so you don’t hear her gasping as much and catching her breath

It’s very possible to dance while singing the whole time- look at stayc- I don’t think I’ve ever seen them do a performance without singing live the whole time. To be a kpop idol they train to be able to dance and sing live it’s very possible

I often forget how small she is in real life because she has such a big stage presence. Her charisma is out of this world, and the fact that she can fill an entire stage alone, as a small 4’11” girl from Oklahoma is something to be admired in itself. I'm guessing ASC performance had its limitations for whatever reasons, but it makes you really appreciate the level of quality you expect with Kpop performance vids like this; camera work is more dynamic, and background dancers more on point here.
