Do you think you need an audience to succeed in business?

Not sure yet, I’ve just started my own business so I’ll be back in a few years with the answer

No. Full stop. But it’s leverage for the ones that get what it does. What most don’t understand is how it actually can limit your growth if it’s not good or super niche. For reference we built an Ecom biz on a 20k audience but it also limits us because it’s not relevant broad market. So in a way, our content limits how wide we can go in the market. So our shift now is broadening our market reach. And testing new niches to expand. Hard to do since it worked so well in the beginning.

This was such an intriguing, informative and also peaceful podcast. I love these types of interviews that feel deeper and more behind the scenes. The ability to listen in on conversations we would otherwise never have access to. Very much enjoyed. And views should be 100x.

Been really enjoying your content Eric! Do more content with those that have holding companies super fascinating to learn.
As a side note you ask tons of great strategy questions others aren’t asking. Lots of the other interview channels talk way to much about motivation and not execution

Do not take the advice of don't make content.
Make content in preparation of the pursuit making good content when you do have a story.

Hi Codie, I love your content, however, I think you might be able to improve your impromptu interviews. One of the things I learned in my Public Speaking 101 course was the importance of avoiding "um" because it takes the audience out of the flow and is distracting. I noticed you said "um" alot in this podcast. I really like your content and want it to succeed because I agree 100% that more Americans need to buy and run small businesses so we have skin in the game. I think you are doing a fantastic job and I believe in your mission.
