    Gracious God! you have saved me a lot of trouble. I did this somewhat but did not know what I was doing. Story is when I had fewer goats I prepared Urea treated rice straw with molasses included but before the goats where served I use to add Molasses in their water so they got used to the scent so when the straw is served the eat it. then I stopped when the molasses finished and the rains where back. I could get fresh grass for them. now the goats have increased and all around farmers have sprayed herbicides to kill the grasses. I preapared another urea treated straw and the will not eat.
    Thank you for letting me know what to do to teach them how to eat the urea treated straw

    For mixing the grass, you could use a long handle garden folk. It's easier, quicker, easy on the back and evenly mixes the liquid and grass

    Thanks. I just got a goat, which only want to eat green plants and barely touches hay or dried material at all, except dried fruit tree leaves which she hunts out like a delicacy. I will try your method of mixing some dilute molasses into the hay.

    Hello sir I am a goat Farmer from Cameroon . I have been following your teaching, and I want to say you are the reason I venture into this project. I have so many question which I equally need answer for all if I most continue in this business. For I want to know how one can make this mollase? Or what is the chemical composition of mollase?

    • @dilliwa

      Visit a nearby Agrovet store they can tell where you can get it from however most of them do sell the mollases.

      Hi molasses are by products of the sugar making factory. If you have such factories in your country try approaching them and ask them. Alternatively there could be traders who buy from the factory in bulk and you could buy from them.

    Good morning hamisi, I see your housing for goats is very open and you have a small shaded area, my question is , during the rain season do the goats stay out in hat open area?
    how do you protect them from the rain ?

    • @james99masagazi57
      @james99masagazi57 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They stay in that hat open area...goats do not need closed houses it's very dangerous they always want to stay outside and always run into shade when rain comes

      @@hamiisisemanda8150 PLS HELP, I WATCHED AN AUTOMATED SILAGE PROCESS BUT DIDN'T SEE THEM ADD MOLASSES. THEY JUST CUT, CHOPPED AND AT THE SAME TIME BALED IT IN THE CORN FIELD. KINDLY EXPLAIN IF IT WILL STILL FERMENT AND BE FIT FOR CONSUMPTION.
