I just received mine. When I put it on silent it goes off after a couple of minutes. Why is that. No sound at all.

Have you accidentally put it on timer or set the humidity level high thus causing it to turn off? Perhaps the water tank needs removing and re entering as it could be tripping the water tank full sensor or it could be a faulty unit anyone's guess anything in the manual about silent mode?

Could you do a video on setting the time for running on and off automaticly I just baught this video has helped a bit to run my humidifier.

​​@@RMEonlinepress timer & then every time you press up it goes up in 0.5 increments, each one represents 30 mins, so 1.5 is 1hr 30. Then finally when it does come on, you can then press timer again whilst it's running & the time set will be when it turns off. Hope that helps..
