Hello, thanks for the video, helped clear out a lot things I didn't understand about Locum. I had a couple of questions. So I just graduated, and Im planning to do internship (Im outside of the UK), I can apply for FY2 after Im done. So I was wondering, would I be able to do Locum for a year instead of FY2, or is it only an option after finishing FY2.
Hello ! A few questions : 1.If I start working as a non training doctor in A&E , can I locum a ward job in gastro ? 2. With a regular job ( is there an upper limit of number of hours with the regular job and with the locum job 3. Is it ethically fine to pick up locum jobs along with the regular ones
Hi. Im an IMG planning to enter GP Training. Following this, I intend to take up a salaried GP job for stability but I would like to know if I can supplement this income by doing OOH locums. Or are these for locum GP's only?
Are these agencies usefull for those who are looking for a full time fy1 non training job ? I am an international med student and I'll start working as a fy2 (standalone) doctor in august 2022. Before to start my fy2 I wanted to get some uk experience (as a fy1)
These are not that useful for that in my opinion, you could contact them and try - but a better option may be to contact hospital trusts directly via email
Fy3 how is it known in nhs job titles and how is this different from clinical fellow FY1/FY2 Thanks for this wonderful channel truly informative God bless you
Kiran I see that you claim yourself a doctor and a "comedian". I'm getting annoyed at this point by the fact that you say you're a comedian in every intro but never cracked a single joke. A real comedian always finds a joke in every circumstance. So go on and show us what you got. Sorry if this looks like a rant, I just wanna see the comedian in you fella. Cheers❤️.
Check out the other videos Oliver! News On Drugs (the video before this) was just 9 minutes of straight jokes 😂 I’ve got loads of day in the life comedy vlogs I’ve got videos about my journey into comedy I’ve got a Q&A about being a comedian and answering people’s questions
