I found that 40 percent on the front windshield is the sweet spot if you still want to see at night. 50 is too light in the daytime and 35 is too dark at night.

I’m running 5% rear windows / rear glass, 25% fronts, 75% windshield. It was hard at the beginning at night, but now I’m used to it. I have also not been hassled by the cops. I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop speed trap on a downhill (35mph that turns into a 50) and the cop didn’t even mention tint, they were just after revenue.(pigs)
On my Denali, I put 35% on my windshield, with a 5% brow 12" from the top, and 5% all the way around. It's black exterior also. Can't beat it man. Blackkkkked out for the win.

You touched a good point. Most cars coming out today have the percentage % on the window. Don't get fooled. Clear windows come with a slight tint to them already, most around 70% back windows at 25%. It also depends on brand of film,they sell you either the equivalent % to make the true % desired or they sell you the actual % as advertized but when its installed it will be darker than what they advertized.
Looks nice man. I have 15% on the sides and back window rear. And I did 30% at the front windshield. It looks really good on my red Subaru WRX makes it pop out more. I'm sure a get a lot of people looking at me. But they won't be able to see me clear. 😁
Great choice in tint percentage grade …. I personally did my 2021 Sierra 1500 windshield 30% and same for front passenger &driver windows and I did 10% on the rear windows of my truck. I wear glasses so it’s important to protect the windshield bc of the glare from the sun and lights at night The truck looks sick

Where do you live? Here in Cali I used to get pulled over all the time with my Escalade tinted 5% all around and 35% on windshield. I took windshield off and went with 35% driver and passenger.

Pretty sure it’s illegal in every state, unless you have some sort of medical waiver from your doctor. For this reason I went with AirBlue 80 on my windshield for UV protection and staying legal
I have to admit this is one beautiful truck the all-black Outlook is an awesome idea but with the tint will not pass in Chicago. Cops will be following me for sure. But if your state have different laws it's all good one beautiful truck.
took my 2021 f150 today to get the ceramic tint. happy with the results. got all windows plus panoramic sun roof minus the front done. already feel the difference in temp compared to how I had them originally. 10/10. next step is to get my truck ceramic coated.
Its not legal in any states its illagel in all states unless u have a medical exemption like I do then they have to allow u to pass through the state n tint is not an inspection item here in pa so they can't fail u for it n if u get in an accident even for first responders law enforcement who r exempt lol the insurance will not cover u if u injure someone or kill them even law enforcement your getting manslaughter charged n going to prison

I have light on my front windshield with a limo visor and I believe medium all the way around and it's perfect. she is one beautiful looking truck, Toyota did a great job, I still love the Silverado's more.😂

When I got my car tinted I debated between the 5% and 15% I ended up going with the 15% all around even on the front windshield. And I absolutely love it!

No they cannot see in during the day, maybe a shadow of a hand on the steering wheel. With that being said I have 20% on mine and have no problems driving at night or during the rain.

my tint guy does a calculation between the factory smoke percentage and the percentage I want to create the desired percentage

Even if you were to get an 80 or a 70 it cuts off as much glare as that dark tint plus you’ll have more visibility at night
