AMD cards are to prone for giving out, had it happen a lot over the years. I also don't like Ryzen processors. Too many black screens of DEATH on their products overall. Hence the cheaper price imo. Also in this video (which is great) the AMD is way to judder/stuttery in many games. Even at higher framerates the 4060 just seems more fluid. I'd actually take the 3060 with 12gb of VRAM over both of these cards since there isn't much difference. And VRAM will be vital for future titles, even at lesser framerates. Card was ahead of it's time, that's why it's still so popular even in prebuilt PC's ;O)
Crap processor. Stick at least an i5-13400f. There’s a brill article about why 8gb vs 12GB doesn’t make as much a difference due to architecture and caches on GPUs. Even to 4K. Look for it online. Everyone thinks it’s just 8gb vs 24GB. It’s not even close to your way of thinking.
The CPU is not the limiting factor. GPUs, in this case, is the limiting factor. And VRam is important, because of Unreal Engine 5 capabilities and the lack of optimization that modern games get.
