im a gooner and i think Klopp is the best coach in the world, even better than Guardiola because Klopp did overachieve with (at he time) small Mainz, with (at he time) mid Dortmund and with big Liverpool, so his stuff works in every context. But currently Arteta is a hot prospect. At the present time it seems like there is more to still get out of Arteta than with Klopp, whos big achievements sets him up for disappointment.
Bear in mind Arteta never managed a single game in the Champions League with Arsenal..Klopp's pretty much won it all, competing at the highest level with a tight budget..there's levels to it!!
There's no way to swing it one way or the other definitively on that. Both are managers who took teams from mid table back to being title contenders (and in klopps case: champions). However this is Arteta's first ever management job, Klopp has at least a decade and a Half's experience over Arteta and yet Arteta cooks him in the table? I think you have to say Arteta for the here and now and Klopp for the historical and the fact he's got a champions league
@@MattitudePlays it’s recent bias it’s going off one season, remember before last season the season before he nearly won a quadruple ffs, to base arteta above klopp is absurd, last 2 seasons on their final run ins they’ve bottled it losing ucl and losing the title, arteta isn’t close to klopps level yet he’s had one season out of what 4 where he’s been in the top coaches of the league

My point being, hes had 1 good season, a season which he still ultimately bottled, same as the season previous when they got pipped by spurs for CL spots. It's not just one good season, he has turned a team that was in absolute turmoil into one of the best in the league. He won the FA cup his 1st season when he took over in december/January, the year we finished 5th we probably should have made top 4 but regardless that was a really good season considering what we were looking like beforehand and last year we MASSIVELY overachieved. Most people didn't even think Arsenal would finish top 4 and we pushed City as far as basically anyone could barring prime Liverpool. Taking away credit from Arteta by just saying we bottled it is so lazy tbh. Also everyone spends a ridiculous amount of money, I think if you're being objective Arsenal have done some of the best transfer buisness in the last few seasons but of course now it's getting turned into simply a money argument, keep in mind how old Arteta is and keep in mind that this is his first job as a manager, it's very rare and special what he's doing. This is not to take anything away from Klopp because he is phenomenal obviously but Klopp started his career doing a solid job at Mainz, wasn't just thrown into the deep end like Arteta, give Arteta some more credit because he deserves it.
A lot closer than you think. Klopp took a Liverpool team from rags to riches over the course of 5 years. Arteta has been at Arsenal 3 years and has taken a lost Arsenal team to being title contenders. He's also in the champions league for the first time in his career, so there's no way to judge him on European performance. Honestly in 2 seasons time Arteta will be considered better than Klopp. As of right now, yes Klopp is proven to be better in terms of his achievements.
Saying Arsenal have a significantly better team than Liverpool is also delusional. We will see how this season plays out, but I would put my money on Liverpool to push City over Arsenal

I think with Barcelona it’s tricky because the fans are expecting results especially in the champions league but the board is too. These levers and potentially risky deals for world class players are made by the board because of the ridiculous amount of money that can be made for just progressing deep in the champions league not even having to actually win the trophy. It’s risky but dropping out of the champions league for multiple seasons would make it incredibly difficult to re enter the “elite” club status later on in the future as the money just won’t be there but most importantly the future income won’t be there either
Honestly, instead of wasting the top 2 on Pep and Klopp which were always gonna be unanimous, i think you shouldve added in De Zerbi and Howe to make the rankings more interesting. Maybe do for the next time!
United is by far the most delusional fan base every single player that plays one good game is the new ronaldo or whatever. I can’t believe that most united fans think Luke Shaw is better than theo hernandez. That’s mental
Everyone is talking about Arteta is lucky to stay in his job in his first year. Did everyone magically forgot he won an FA cup within six months in charge beating Man City and Chelsea then Liverpool in the community shield with Mustafi, David Luiz, Maintland Niles and Bellerin.
Oh come on, Arteta has literally had a few seasons in management! If he’d won the prem then that’s one thing, but Poch has delivered across multiple leagues over multiple years. Arteta has got a while to go before he’s up there.
Barca fan here. I think most of the fan base do not really appreciate what the 'financial levers' really mean in the long term. Most of these levers involved selling assets we did not know existed before last year. Pulling the 'levers' allowed us to sign Lewandowski (questionable signing imho but he helped deliver the league), Kounde and Raphinha in addition to registering other players (a process most of us do not fully understand). Raphinha is entering his peak and we signed him when there was a lot of uncertainty about Dembele. Kounde has proven himself beyond doubt for me. Christensen is also an excellent signing on a free transfer. We are still lacking a bit of depth in attack but there are lots of reasons to be optimistic when we look at our young players. Winning the league again this time around might be a bit harder but definitely far from impossible. Our record against Madrid in the past year is also quite encouraging. Noone expects us to win UCL but we may be 3-4 seasons away from a genuine UCL challenge. I do not see many credible FCB fan channels making unrealistic demands of the club. At the moment we have a very decent backline and midfield and decent attack if Lewa rediscovers his form so a bit of optimism is appropriate.
If Liverpool during that 18/19 season got that goal against city (which was 4mm away from passing the line) Liverpool would be - UCL and Prem winners - Centurions - invincible
Arteta over Klopp is the worst call I've ever heard. Arteta is turning into another money man at Arsenal he just spends his way to the top, if you want somebody to take over your club it's Klopp
Arteta is the best manager in football the second pep retires There’s a reason Barca madrid and psg want him when he just signed a contract Klopp can get sacked today his best job would be Chelsea (because they don’t actually know wtf they r doing) And then you’re looking at the German job Dortmund Franfurt and maybe Juve and Milan
Every top coach is a "money man" if you look at the insane amounts they spend. So I don't necessarily agree with that. That being said, I agree with Klopp being the better manager.
Arteta has spent 50 million per window and replaces his squad. Klopps Moneyball worked 5 years ago. Nunez, Caicedo and szobo prove he's going to spend more as the market inflates
1. Pep 2. Klopp 3. Arteta 4. Ten Hag 5. Ange 6. Poch No idea how nobody had this. Ange over Ten Hag is incredibly reactionary and it's been a while since Poch was good so I would definitely not take a risk in hiring him over ETH or Ange
Can we have the edits back on screen that shows everyone’s whiteboard answers? If everyone other than Mikey is gonna out then down it’s difficult to keep up with each others debate
Im sorry guys but ange won league same as slippy g done in scottland. Like how this makes any sense is Gerrad now a great coach or something? Or are you judging on 4 league games?
Funny how apparently Laporta is doing terribly at Barça when he has reduced the money spent on wages+amortisations from 700M€ in Bartomeu's latest season to just over 400M€, while massively improving the squad and signing all the good young players to long-term contracts. And doing this while winning La Liga.
Of course but there has absolutely been some mistakes/questionable decisions when in a time that you can't make many missteps considering the financial situation
Arteta is overrated, isn't he? Poch pretty much did the same thing at Spurs that Arteta did on a fraction of the budget. Poch finished 5th, 3rd and 2nd in his first 3 seasons, Arteta finished 8th, 8th and 5th in his first 3 (though he finished 2nd in his 3rd *full* season). Furthermore, Poch's 2nd placed Spurs finished on a higher points total than Arsenal's last season.
The waffle from Dougie picking Arteta over Klopp. If you're going by last season's signings and performance, then Klopp would fall below Ten Hag and Eddie Howe. Mad.
Zac is really quick to mention Potch has only had 4 games as boss however when it comes to Havertz he’s on his case saying he’s crap. Havertz has had 4 games for Arsenal and it’s his first time at a big club so it’s going to take time to adapt!!
same thing with his ange take. "it's only been 4 games" yea thats the point. stepped into tottenham in a shit spot and lost the star of the team, and has turned it around completely in a month, with no sporting director and rebuilding the squad... like, yea it's been 4 games and have a look.. lmao
Literally every argument Dougie made for Arteta over Klopp was either easily refuted or a nonsense position. Arteta hasn't even won a single UCL game with Arsenal yet, Klopps won it and reached 3 finals.... Levels...
I like how the video title isn't HEATED when Sam isn't around. It's a DEBATE and it's HEATED for the twp episodes he was on. Goes to show who brings the heat and who brings the reason to the table. 😂
Mcubbin is right that chelsea team in 2021 will be forgotten very easily despite winning the ucl, Liverpool winning a ucl and then a prem in the city era will be remembered way more
There is actually an argument to make Klopp number one. As the question is who would you want to take over you team, so unless you have state backing and can burn 50m+ on every player bought, Pep and his system is going to struggle. So for a mid table team you could say Klopp would be the man.

25:04 amazing double entendre there camp nou (the stadium) vs "camp now"
Kinda wierdly so proud of Zac, he's become so well spoken and so confident, he's grown so much, i love ittt
Still biased af tho
@nikolasavic1525 i think he's pretty measured tbh and the bias only adds to the all round entertainment lol
Arteta over Klopp Is mad🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
yes best show is back
My favourite football daily format plz keep going
I remember when Mitoma making his debut off the bench vs Newcastle in that 0-0 draw last September and despite the 15 min he was give I had a feeling this guy was gonna tear it up
Idea for Team Talk next week, which is the best signing each EPL club have made this summer.
Team talk is my favorite show by far
Is it bad that I get excited when I see another team talk episode uploaded? 😅😂 Love this show
the BEST series on this channel
I think with Barcelona it’s tricky because the fans are expecting results especially in the champions league but the board is too. These levers and potentially risky deals for world class players are made by the board because of the ridiculous amount of money that can be made for just progressing deep in the champions league not even having to actually win the trophy. It’s risky but dropping out of the champions league for multiple seasons would make it incredibly difficult to re enter the “elite” club status later on in the future as the money just won’t be there but most importantly the future income won’t be there either
Nicely said and Barca fans are more desperate than delusional.
Honestly, instead of wasting the top 2 on Pep and Klopp which were always gonna be unanimous, i think you shouldve added in De Zerbi and Howe to make the rankings more interesting. Maybe do for the next time!
Love these videos
United is by far the most delusional fan base every single player that plays one good game is the new ronaldo or whatever. I can’t believe that most united fans think Luke Shaw is better than theo hernandez. That’s mental
McCubbs wearing a Bloc Party Silent Alarm t-shirt. Automatically wins this episode for me.
Everyone is talking about Arteta is lucky to stay in his job in his first year. Did everyone magically forgot he won an FA cup within six months in charge beating Man City and Chelsea then Liverpool in the community shield with Mustafi, David Luiz, Maintland Niles and Bellerin.
Exactly I would not have him above Kloop and Pep but having Poch ahead of him is criminal
Still not above Klopp. But poch over him is criminal
Oh come on, Arteta has literally had a few seasons in management! If he’d won the prem then that’s one thing, but Poch has delivered across multiple leagues over multiple years. Arteta has got a while to go before he’s up there.
The dislike for chelsea is palpable.
Dougies takes are getting worse by the week 😂
Love this guys yeah
Also Dougie don’t come at Chels fans and then complain when they clap back at you
Hope we see the last question being asked more often
Team talk is so interesting ❤
If Liverpool during that 18/19 season got that goal against city (which was 4mm away from passing the line)
Liverpool would be
- UCL and Prem winners
- Centurions
- invincible
Woulda coulda shoulda
Arteta over Klopp is the worst call I've ever heard. Arteta is turning into another money man at Arsenal he just spends his way to the top, if you want somebody to take over your club it's Klopp
Arteta is the best manager in football the second pep retires
There’s a reason Barca madrid and psg want him when he just signed a contract
Klopp can get sacked today his best job would be Chelsea (because they don’t actually know wtf they r doing)
And then you’re looking at the German job Dortmund Franfurt and maybe Juve and Milan
@@mohamad6090stopped reading at “arteta is second best in the world after pep” you have no idea what you’re talking about 😂😂😂😂
Every top coach is a "money man" if you look at the insane amounts they spend.
@@liamfred9011how you adding caicedo in when we didn’t get him
1. Pep
2. Klopp
3. Arteta
4. Ten Hag
5. Ange
6. Poch
No idea how nobody had this. Ange over Ten Hag is incredibly reactionary and it's been a while since Poch was good so I would definitely not take a risk in hiring him over ETH or Ange
ten hag is rock bottom, hes not even top 10 managers in the prem
Put ange over ten hag and it's perfect
The disrespect for serie A is unreal though.
Team talk is best show rn
Best show on the channel
Best show on FD. Well, second best after Football Rewind.
@@cormacmacaongusasuch as?
@@thedecider4755 Paying 70m for Raphinha, 40m for Lewandowski, buying old players, selling a lot of the clubs future revenue
10:23 I love Henry so much bro
Arteta is overrated, isn't he? Poch pretty much did the same thing at Spurs that Arteta did on a fraction of the budget. Poch finished 5th, 3rd and 2nd in his first 3 seasons, Arteta finished 8th, 8th and 5th in his first 3 (though he finished 2nd in his 3rd *full* season).
Furthermore, Poch's 2nd placed Spurs finished on a higher points total than Arsenal's last season.
Exactly
Some of the names in that Spurs squad were awful: Jansen, Nkoudou, winks and wimmer. Even the likes of Pepe are better than that
compare poch first 4 years of management vs arteta first 4 years
Henry repping an Australian beer brand shirt - love to see it
The waffle from Dougie picking Arteta over Klopp. If you're going by last season's signings and performance, then Klopp would fall below Ten Hag and Eddie Howe. Mad.
Arteta over klopp is absolutely crazy😂
Arteta right now is better than Klopp. Pep is number 1, and Arteta was taught to manage under Pep.
This needs the onscreen graphics to show who has said what - very hard to read the boards.
Zac is really quick to mention Potch has only had 4 games as boss however when it comes to Havertz he’s on his case saying he’s crap. Havertz has had 4 games for Arsenal and it’s his first time at a big club so it’s going to take time to adapt!!
same thing with his ange take. "it's only been 4 games"
yea thats the point. stepped into tottenham in a shit spot and lost the star of the team, and has turned it around completely in a month, with no sporting director and rebuilding the squad... like, yea it's been 4 games and have a look.. lmao
May be because poch was incredible In his first PL stint and havertz has been bad for quite some time now
The more team talk can become a weekly upload, the better!
i think djellab is just as delusional as every other chelsea fan tbh
Literally every argument Dougie made for Arteta over Klopp was either easily refuted or a nonsense position. Arteta hasn't even won a single UCL game with Arsenal yet, Klopps won it and reached 3 finals.... Levels...
Arsenal Twitter compared to match going fans are the most deluded, some of the takes of these verified accounts are abhorrent
Chelsea involved so dougie and mccubin put us last😭😭
Are these "podcasts" going to go onto spotify/apple? would love to listen on my drives. TT might be hard but how about Sunday and Monday vibes??
Just play the TH-cam video. Or you can download an audio version of the video and save to your phone/car.
Asking Dougie about Chelsea is kinda pointless, we all know he has a massive biased against the club and will take any chance to slate them.
I'm convinced Dougie is anti liverpool
I like how the video title isn't HEATED when Sam isn't around. It's a DEBATE and it's HEATED for the twp episodes he was on.
Goes to show who brings the heat and who brings the reason to the table. 😂
If its currently, mine would have to be
1. Klopp
2. Pep
3. Arteta
4. Ange
5. Poch
6. Ten Hag
That Baldy IS A CERTIFIED CHELSEA HATER...
33:38 do you think haaland will reach Suarez levels? Cause in my opinion no one is close to him
Mcubbin is right that chelsea team in 2021 will be forgotten very easily despite winning the ucl, Liverpool winning a ucl and then a prem in the city era will be remembered way more
Yeah i am a Chelsea fan and I honestly do not care...
@@couturecriminal8330 did I ask?
@@Francadam yeah you commented on TH-cam a social platform and expected no response👀
@@couturecriminal8330 yeah i commented my opinion on the video, who gives a shit if you care or not
There is actually an argument to make Klopp number one. As the question is who would you want to take over you team, so unless you have state backing and can burn 50m+ on every player bought, Pep and his system is going to struggle. So for a mid table team you could say Klopp would be the man.
I’m an Everton fan & having klopp under arteta is one of the stupidest things I’ve seen this week.
Simply the best football show on social media
You should do a league format for team talk similar to stat wars the league
Darwin was not an over spend. I don’t support liverpool but I love him
Eze had better goal assist than Mitoma in a less attacking team with less support around him. The Brighton circle jerk is real
You guys gotta get a better technical team, this setup in the studio is terrible lol! The handheld mics, the random junk in the background, Joe looks like he’s not even in the same room. Been watching you guys for a while, you can do better!
