Can we please refrain from any hateful comments about who had more parts. In a collaborative song like this I'm sure distributing equally is difficult. The members im sure don't appreciate seeing bad things said about anyone involved in the song.

if this song was released by a rookie group, no one will even bat an eye... not like songs like bboom bboom which bring a rookie group to the top.
tenerife sea I agree but keep in mind that BP is not a rookie anymore and they are big already. Ice cream cake doesn’t even fit the whole image of BP. There are songs that artists took a completely different turn just like Ariana’s seven rings is way different than his previous releases but hey it’s Ari she make it work just like BP and any known artist so genre is not the problem. I think the song is just too short and missing spaces here and there but the beat is dope.
Yeah... no. I hate that Teddy's formula is the same for damn near every song. Doesn't mean the music is necessarily bad. HYLT was top tier compared to Ice Cream.

Kpop is transitioning into the eng language markets. They did the same when they went to jpn.
I think the industry as a whole feels confident that after years of eng language training their idols can seamlessly create eng versions with the korean and japanese. Amazingly talented artists. I dont think a lot of American artists can reciprocate to another language...unless its Canadian Scottish or irish (not sure cause real irish is not like anything we hear in the movies).
Kpop is just amazing. There are korean, japanese, chinese version now english.
I think it’s actually denaturating the whole thing ,kpop is famous because it is different if they all tryna put up only English songs it’s gonna totally lose it’s charm
Kpop has a catchy Korean sound/melody on its own. But when you add different influences like Latin, African, European, American, techno, dubstep, etc, then you get this crazy Kpop sound that appeals to almost everyone who are open minded enough to listen to it. Which is what Kpop is today. There's a reason why Kpop is the 7th most listened to genre in the entire today. It resonates with people.
@@sonia4313 as long as they keep the focus on kpop I think it'll be ok releasing in English with a japanese or chinese version. But yeah I became a fan cause it's not like the music here in the us.

More I watched it, the more it grew on me - LISA's vocals are incredible, especially for someone for whom it's her third(?) language!
I did have some concern, when the concept was dropped, of Miss Gomez bringing it - but she slipped right in and ALL these young women performed seamlessly.
Also, with all that innuendo, possibly one of the naughtiest, but still innocent, songs in ages - most other artists just manage to be crude and vulgar!

Well selena does get half the song and BP girls get the other half. Considering how selena and her friends wrote more than half the song. The girls won't be able to show everything ya know.
