Even stupid can tell that he is for his own coward life, not the United States, at that monment to say he is a Chinese, and then, apparently he betrayed his creed and chose to use excuse "fight for American" to get himself a coward live. That’s amazing that the Chinese fell for it. As a Chinese speaker myself, i can say that wasn’t exactly the best mandarin; he pronounced the cantonese word for “fire/shoot” (玩火) instead of mandarin when he told them not shoot.
He also made some grammatical errors & said “bu kai huo” (不開火) where it would be more grammatically correct if he was to says “bie kai huo” (別開火).
He’s a lucky man the Chinese soldiers didn’t pick up on that.
EDIT: Actually, “kai huo (開火)” is ok, it literally means “open fire” (i.e: typically you say if you were shooting cannons or something). If he was to have said “bie kai chang (別開槍)” meaning “don’t shoot (your gun)” colloquially would be better.

Too be honest i think he should have been awards the Medal of Honor, the highest award. Maybe because he was Chinese he only got the silver star. Either way I wish they made a movie about this guy. Too bad the Chinese will never let that happen considering they are the biggest box office current. So new movies that want to make money would have to go through "Chinese custom."

I'm not questioning this mans bravery, and he deserves respect from the American people, however I will say that what he did was questionable.

Ass hole, everyone thinks that way (racial profiling) ,barring you when everyone discriminate you as an Asian! you say you dont do it, but I bet you subconsciously respect whites more than blacks for their past achievements, its not something you control, its a subconscious thing... Theres two thoughts, you treat your friends separately in a colour blind way, but most people profile strangers racially, its how it works, if its not like that there wouldn't be any discrimination, think about it.

Stop your BS, you know what I mean, everyone has their own preconceptions about race, when you want to make friends its better to keep your stereotypes and preconceptions at bay, do you have a brain?? is your brain not flexible? lets get this straight, if there wasnt racism, people wouldn't judge you by your color but you know people do, in all aspects of life. Take the media, why the fuck are we restricted in the media?? because people in the arm chairs stereotype asians, we're not deemed bankable, people turn off due to their preconceptions about asians, the media is just black and white! its nearly an asian free zone!!!
