i havent been interested in techno since the late 90"s and recently i discovered Boris and i have been hooked ever since, it's in a category by itself, i'm blown away by all the sounds and rolling bass lines, it's genius
Boris has a special place in my heart, saw him twice in two months. Both times this guy absolutely wrecked it. At Pleinvrees in Amsterdam he surprised the unfamiliar audience with his unusual sound. At ADE he dropped the house on us with 1,5 hours of continuous hard drops and insane rhythms. Shook his hand after and showed my appreciation. Artists like him are the pushing force of musical development, if only there were more as innovative as this legend.

i think that really sets Boris' tunes apart. Also in other tunes like gravity he drops a banger already, than in the middle switches the vibe up and gives even more depth to the tune. Like, even the first part wouldve been enough. But it just shows the will to go the extra mile to make not just a thumping club tune for DJs to mix, but an interesting piece of art in itself.
