Jeremy Clarkson Discuss 'Stopping Distances' | Ford Anglia |

According to the Highway Code, the typical stopping distance for a car travelling at 70mph is 315 feet. Jeremy Clarkson isn't happy about this. He believes it is flawed, because the rules and regulations are “full of stupidity and factual inaccuracies” and asks whether a Ford Anglia was used for the tests.

Now in 2023 Wales has changed its residential speed limit to 20mph and car stopping distance is better then it’s ever been even with the big suv’s on road. This country is definitely going backwards🥲

Anglias are so easily modded to brake and handle beautifully. I have owned a number of 105Es without any problems, inherently the Anglia has good neutral handling but is poorly damped.Easly rectified
