These kawecos are the cutest! I’ve got a collection of 9 & counting. I never thought It’d be something I’d be addicted to! Fountain pens have really come a long way from my days of using them in primary school as a child😅

At first I didn't care for it, regardless of how cute it is, but I used it daily for a month and now I really like it! I have Sailor 150 in mine.
I have that Platinum meteor pink pen too! =) I love Preppy and Meteor/Shootingstar so much I have a total of 10 of them hahahaha Preppy my favorite fountain pen. Here are some possible reasons I thought why your Platinum meteor/shootingstar fountain pen might have gushed ink: 1) Nib was not all the way in. With your fingers, hold the nib and push it in. You sometimes can hear a snap similar to when you cap the pen but softer. No need to put strengh here. Just a bit of pressure. Preppy and meteor have the same feed and nib so they work the same. They have a "stick" holding the nib and conecting to the feed. That "stick" is removable and you can even rotate it without removing the nib, wich brings me to 2) The feed "stick" is in a bad position. Hold the nib with your fingers and rotate it a bit. 3) You accidently pressed/pushed the converter lever and flooded the feed.
I totally understand and see what you meant about the two White Pens being different shades of White. The Kaweco Sport in White is super bright. The Kaweco Student you show is the same I have, and I also twin there with Abbey Sy, I bought it after she showed it on her Channel. I also have the Sport Dark Olive, the Pearl Sport, also the Lamy Cream and another Color of that fantastic Shibui Pencase. I am still a bit new to the Fountain Pen Thing, I restarted my old Pen from my Highschool Time I think two years ago, and I am so hooked now. And I like twinning my stuff with other nice people. Feels so "Community" ...
I'm a newbie to fountain pens, my first keweco sport is on the way and now I know I want the keweco student fountain pen because it's so beautiful I know I should take my time, but I just know I want to get it soon!

I agree, the white Kaweco is just TOO white lol! I like the toasted coconut from the Frosted line more than the white 🥥 my first Kaweco was the iridescent limited edition and I love it so far :)
I went to this amazing stationary store in SF that displayed each item, whether $5 or $50 in a beautiful way. I didn’t know how long it takes go through a ink cartridge and bought one in every color…whoops.
What a beautiful collection 🥹 I possess two kaweco sport (white, black,), one kaweco collection (iridescent) and one sailor fountain pen (dragon palace). ❤ I couldn’t resist after watching your videos 🙈😆
for the cream lamy it was the ink that was causing issues. they are both lamy safaris and exactly the same, just the cream one was part of a limited edition collection where it was a matte finish and the clip matched the pen rather than it being metal.
Sounds like you might have an ink issue. Not every ink is for every pen. The ink you are using might be too thin for the pen. Or it could be an issue with the nib.
Yes I figure it’s the ink because as I mentioned the sailor ink is fine with the pink one that I have ink currently. But overall, Lamy isn’t a favorite/I don’t grab for it as much as my other pens 🥲

that sounds like fun! and haha right! but you can never have enough
For a cheaper fountain pens, it tends to leak when using the converter. So I recommend trying a cartridge instead☺️
hmm the converter i used is what came with the pen.... i don't like the color of the cartridge :(
