The Spartanburg Downtown airport is the oldest airport in the state and will have a centennial celebration in a couple of years. Charles Lindbergh visited when the airport opened and was given a parade in Spartanburg. Amelia Earhart visited a few years later. A little known fact about the Spartanburg airport is that right after WW2 it had the first female air traffic controller in the state.
According to OneSpartanburg (chamber of commerce), Spartanburg County has over 200 foreign based companies. Several developments are underway in Spartanburg, a new baseball stadium downtown, the largest investment in the city’s history; a planetarium at public library headquarters, only the 2nd planetarium at a public library in the US; projects for the abandoned Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola buildings, a 945 acre park/ nature preserve just southeast of the city and a first in the state nature trail specifically designed for handicapped people at Lake Blalock just north of the city. A new county courthouse opened recently and construction is soon going to begin on a first in the state joint city hall and county administration building. Spartanburg has an expanding network of walking/biking trails. A couple of sites of historical interest are the Spartanburg Music Trail downtown and the Spartanburg Revolutionary War Trail.
Ive been having the hardest time deciding between these two.

Why are brand new homes significantly lower than say a 20 year old house in Greenville?
I’m going to guess it’s due to the proximity to downtown, a more desirable location and probably MUCH better quality construction!
Usually builders team up with mortgage brokers to get a lower interest rate, but some home builders like Ryan homes have poor build quality.
@@CarolJoyable definitely! They don’t make’um like they use to !
@@jpunditreviewsandtutorials6878 thank for the heads up ! Ok, so Ryan,no…are there any others to stay clear from ? What are some good ones ?
Pricing depends on size, quality of finishes, location, access to amenities, and more. Are you searching for a home?
