I've got the 105mm and it is definitely sexy! The lens paid for itself in about a week. I shoot everything from people to aircraft with it, and it always impresses.
Agree, I was trying out the wireless mic and set some things wrong. I think most if not all of it was my fault. Will be trying again as I would really like to use them. I'm shopping around for the best system too so may not stick to the Godox......
Yes, absolutely! Not sure if I set something up wrong or what. I had the receiver set to "stereo" and still had the issue. I will have to try again. If you have insight please let me know.
Hi sir it is a superb lens I own it now for almost 2 years bought it in the USA in June 2021 ok 18 month F mount I traded in my 120-300mm F2.8 OS F mount still great used it for ten years but due to many things like airshows etc was cancelled COVID ruled to much time so temporary no birding aviation shows so more close to house and I can say wow better than the Nikon version sharper .Oh and I use the D800 Nikon for 10 years !
I just took this lens out of 2 years hibernation in my dry box..was using all native nikon Z lens i forgot i have this lens😂 im gonna compare this to the newly released nikon 85-1.2S soon when i get my copy.
So, great comment but I got hung up on the part where you said, "I forgot I have this lens." That's like the guy that puts on a pair of pants he hasn't worn for months and finds a $5 bill in the pocket. Except you're finding a $100 bill! Thanks for watching.
@@Todd_Kuhns yup its true, i kept my old D750/D500 24-70 afs 2.8, 85 1.8g and this 105 in a dry box,,i was pissed about the Z6 when it was launched and focusing issues on the sigma 105 keeps missing..then i went all out on Z lenses to pair it on the z6 body and last time i used my 105 sigma art was when my son graduated 2021 during covid..until now..just imagine i got the Z7ii last year to compliment the 50 1.2s and totally forgot to test the sigma 105 on that body🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂
the D850 goes to ISO 64 standard and even Lower options ! the D850 has 153 focusing points and a lot better AF system than the D800 I am thinking about buying the D850 for some time now but keep my D800 .

Thanks for the comment. Glad someone agrees that a lens can be sexy.
I love that lens. The compression that lens give you from outdoor hss is perfect.
Right! Thanks for the comment.
As to audio, sounds a little thin. I use the DJI mic and prefer it sound and features.

I own the Nikon 200 f/2.0 VR and I considered a sexy-curvy lens
Yea, I have to agree with you!
105 1.4 art loves good light or you will get often back or front focus
Thanks for the comment. I didn't use it in low light situations so good to know.
No audio on the left, Mate!

@@Todd_Kuhnsmaybe set it to mono. I believe stereo uses two mics and one is left and the other is right.
@@sidehustlers336 Yea, you are right......I'm slowly learning the audio game.
I have sigma F1.4 28 40 105 and my favorite 105
The 105 is such a cool lens! Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment and for watching! Hope you're getting back out to shoot what you love.
We bought 2 for our press pool. Will be attached to Canon 1dx mark III bodies.
I’m guessing you’ll enjoy them. Would love to hear what you think.
That was great , thank you..
Thanks, Tim! So nice to hear from other photographers.

Thanks for the input. I wondered about the ISO of the 850. It seemed to go from 100 to "lo......something" so I stuck to 100.
this video is anything but the sigma 105. you talked more about your mic than the lens.
Thanks for the input.
I don’t know if gear can be sexy but this lens certainly is! 🥰🥰🤡🤡
my point exactly!
