    HELLO MY WONDERFUL FRIENDS!
    Oh my.. I've been away for so long. I have had a wonderful time in Asia but it feels good to be home and it feels even greater to be here with you again.
    I tried to make a small tutorial with my voice this time. It feels awkward and weird and my English is not the best, and practice makes perfect I guess. Tell me if you HATE it, and tell me if you LOVE it!
    Much love and Papa Bless.

    Did you enjoy watching this? Please be honest. It feels weird and scary :(
    My English is a bit rusty and I stumble a lot, but if I learn to make tutorials this way it's a WIN/WIN situation - I just need to practice a lot, and buy a new computer!
    My videos would look/sound more professional, it would be easier for me to produce, and over time I hope the videos will be more engaging as well.
    I'm happy to be back home in Sweden. Missed you

      I'm very proud of you! It's cool to know what you look and sound like, I've wondered that sometimes. Don't worry indeed , if you do this more often you will become more comfortable with it :)
      by the way, I hope you had a great time in Asia :D

    Awesome stuff as always! Hadn't really thought about using the grid in Dragonframe, so that's a handy tip. Definitely agree with the scrolling back and forth though and not just relying on onion skinning. Great work :)

    • @Guldies
      @Guldies  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +mamshmam AAAH I still get giddy when I hear from you. Thanks man!
      Onion skin is impossible to use when it comes to smaller movements, imo. The only time I use it is when I make big mistakes and need to relocate my moving object to where it was!

    • @mamshmam
      @mamshmam 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Guldies Likewise - I get excited when I see you put out new videos! Even when I make big mistakes I still need to scroll back and forth to make sure it fits in. I guess you could use the zoom function if you really wanted to use onion skinning, but yeah scrolling is the best for spacing :D

    I am impressed that you take the time to Photoshop each image. I would have rotoscoped in After Effects but I can see how this helps sell the effect, especially since you had some brown clay in front of your blue clay at times.

    And this was informative, well made, and well spoken. All fantastic work, and you are awesome.

    Hello, it's nice to see you back. I love your work and I've been following you on You Tube for a while now. I would love to be able to support you on Patreon, however, I am a starving artist myself. As I'm sure you know many of us suffer for our craft, some more than others, LOL. Hopefully someday my art may make me enough money to travel like you have. I bet it was wonderful over there. How did you like it there? Was there anything there that artistically inspired you? I'm sure there were many things but any one specific thing? Anyway, I look forward to seeing your new videos. Take care, Dee😊👍

I was wondering how you manage to make these beautiful figures with so much detail on them. Could you give me some advice on how to make great clay figures for a stop motion short? What materials do I need?Are there any specific techniques?

    Hey Alexander! You got amazing stuff in your channel and you are a great inspiration. I however have faced difficulty connecting my dslr camera to dragonframe software :/
    I was wondering if you could help me get started. I have a few questions and I cant figure out how to make it all work. Will look forward to your suggestions :)

    Do you photoshop every frame to remove support? You should try rendering your animation and removing the support in after effects, this will allow you create animated masks, a much faster method. Any way your videos are fantastic, far better than anything I can do. I just thought this tip would help speed up your work flow, but if you're comfortable with photoshop, by all means continue using it. :)

    I’m trying to do this for my photo class...how much do you move the ball? I did it and it just looks like it slowly floats down...I have to create the video in photoshop tho and I’m confused 😔 I love you videos. You’re amazing at what you do
