React to the new Dear Evan Hansen movie trailer that came out yesterday! its a musical based on the broadway showing and book and it’s amazing, widely popular
I think Tyler is fast becoming my favourite live action Superman. He absolutely nails the wholesome, happy, family man that is Clark Kent, but damn he can pull off terrifying as well. @@michelbidart7286 yeah in elseworlds but it didn't really do much with him, aside from him just being someone strong to fight. I'd love to see him as an actual evil superman character, where he can flesh it out and do more with it

They’re both great brothers. The way they both look after each other is so great and I hope we get to see Jordan take John up flying if he does have the ability to do so.
@@Bt-ft7zk No he isn't, Jordan has social anxiety, he doesn't know how to control his emotions, he let his anger take control when that guy was making fun of him.
@@beyondtrash1627 Mistakes happen. They're young. Jonathan is lowkey the brother everyone needs. Getting drunk and doing stupid shit is a right of passage for teenagers.
This show is a real love letter to the character of Superman. It captures what Clark is, what he represents, what he fights for. It really gets the personality of Lois too. I wasn't sure about the twins at first, but putting Superman in this situation, the family setting, Smallville, the one super-powered kid, it really gives writers an opportunity to showcase the inner workings of Clark's mind.
Eric has became less tolerant of the Flash’s shortcomings this season. In the past I felt like he would sometimes lean towards fans disliking Flash being their own fault because they had different expectations, but this year he feels like he is as tired as the rest of the audience of Flash’s writing.
This checks all the boxes: storyline, acting, cinematography, soundtrack, special effects, and emotional investment. This all feels effortless for a tv show... amazing! Hoechlin’s believable as a potentially really evil Superman. The brother storyline is really captivating. There’s a beautiful balance between Clark/Superman and Lois storylines.
I’ll be honest I was a little worried that after the 2 month break that I wouldn’t keep enjoying the show as much as I was because it was on such a wave of momentum and stoping it for that long can cause issues but this show is still fantastic in literally every way
Episodes may not have aired for 2 months but that doesn't mean they stopped production. Each episode of Superman & Lois takes a lot more time to create than the other CW shows and COVID delays slowed things down even more.
This show doesn’t fail to keep me entertained every minute of the show and I love it so so much and your guys reactions afterwards make it all that much better love you guys also I love how the bad guy actually does something to get away from Superman like derailing the train instead of in flash where the bad guy walks away and Barry’s like I can’t find them
This episode was just so amazing. I have seen it a couple of times, including the deleted scene that was not included in the T.V version due to time. I think Jordan's abilities are slowly developing because he is half-human, so he is getting a power at a time. Jonathan may go through the same thing and he took a raw punch from Jordan. Yes, he broke his hand, but first he was fast enough to block it and two he blocked it. That has to be a sign of powers because they can still get hurt like Jordan did at the beginning of the episode.
@@matthiasnm4279 It was a small scene where Sarah tells the DOJ that Tag didn't hurt her or do anything to her. Also when they put Tag on a cuff that I assume neutralizes his power and Superman tells them to take them off, which they do. He then tells him that he will make sure everything goes well for him.
Jonathan is the kind of big brother I aspire to be with my lil' bro. Jonathan always has Jordan's back and is trying to look out for him. I'm loving the writing for his character, so far. Jordan's writing is on the fence for me, but I have to say that both actors' skill levels are on par with the lead actor and actress, in my opinion. Overall great episode. Might put that pissed-off Superman moment as my new screensaver.
Honestly they both have each others backs always. Jordan gets the short end of the stick because he is always seem as the temperamental one. But they both have that twin bond.

Well I can't really see them doing that but hopefully we can see something like that. And Jonathan it's a heck of brother, which is awesome because it would have being so easy to make him like the jealous one, the dick one, etc, but no, he is great.
What I love about this series is the focus on daily family interactions and challenges. Normally in tv shows, especially in comic books and their adaptations, a conflict rises, is solved and stays solved. In reality character progress is a lot slower. Even if you solve a problem or tension for one day, something else comes up the next day. You can see everyone trying their best, some things get better (Kyle and Lana), some new things come up, some bad things dwell underground, waiting to rise up later (like General Lane), but every day is a challenge again, just like Clark said. And the big stuff like Jordan managing his powers isn't gonna be solved in an episode, hopefully not even in one season.
I think johnathan has powers because I think no normal person could’ve taken w punch like that yes he still broke his arm, however I feel like if it were a normal person the bones in their arm would’ve shattered completely from blocking a super punch
Yea I think his are just developing later because I feel like that kind a punch on a normal person at that speed would prolly shatter ur hand also he was fast enough to catch the punch
I think Jordan's flunctuating powers is also a factor that Jon's hand didn't just torn off. Jordan wants to hurt Cutter really bad but he definitely subconsciously holding back a bit to atleast not kill him.
When Clark talked to his son about having to keep his powers in check all the time was a needed convo in the Superman-verse. This is imo the most Superman/Kent we will ever see on TV. I really like this show because of things like that. Great stuff!
God damn i love this show. Well hey kara's been stuck in the phantom zone so thats why she wasnt at the funeral. Also the reason for not having many connections is this little thing called Covid. So glad there's a CW DC show I can enjoy again. After I stopped watching legends and flash I really did not expect this show to be so well written and look so good. Love everything about this version of superman too.
I love how this version of Superman experiences anger and you can see he constantly has to reign that it. It makes the military’s fear of him seem more reasonable.
u think thats terrifying go watch the movie superman vs the elite, there's one scene in particular and possibly my fav scene cause it shows just how terrifying superman can be if he were to lose it or go nuts/dark, man such a good scene.
@@fakudan ya it really was, but it's not that he just took them out, it's how he didn't and as a first time watching thats a terrifying sight to see just how terrifying he could be when he snaps, or loses it or is controlled by someone else, how op and scary he really is when he's not the superman we all know and love.
This has become my favorite CW DC series as well. I fell in love with Statgirl last year. I think those shows for me have made me wish the writing in shows like the Flash or Titans would be more focused and better thought out. At times I think shows like Flash really struggles with trying to figure out what to do with its characters and stories vary in quality as a result.
Faster then a locomotive! Superman & Lois is back baby! You don't tug on Superman's cape and you don't shoot him with Kryptonite! That shot of him mad was my favorite of series! Lana & Lois teamup!
Tyler has said in interviews that they have made him a few suits to wear and they changed the design from Supergirl because it wasn't comfortable for him to wear a whole season (that and the cape was too long and he tripped over it). So yeah, he's got a few suits but this injury was definitely filmed digitally. I'm thinking it's nanotechnology that makes the suit heal, like Kara's.
100% agree! I have enjoyed Jordan and Jon’s progression thus far! And I like that Clark in this instance was much more firm in his stance in regards to Jordan’s powers.
Good Lord this show is so effing good. The kids who play Jonathan and Jordan are phenomenal. Kudos to Clark for that kitchen speech to Jordan. Aaron- 6:50- LMAO 🤣🤣
I love this Show... Amazing Performances and good mystery box too... Tyler as Superman and Clark both is 🔥🔥 Also I felt that when Eric said "This is Family"... I mean I am 100% on board with you. this show really has a good family stuff than the Flash..
I've been watching Arrowverse for years. Loved all the series. I've been a Supergirl show fan. And watched during the Superman and Lois hiatus. In my opinion Superman and Lois so far is the best arrowverse show. It has real believable characters. It doesn't have to corny characters like Brainy or Elongated man. The stories are awesome. The acting is top notch.
I think the end scene is a "just Jordan" situation. I think it may actually be a new power manifesting. Possibly even something that Clark doesn't have or hasn't yet tapped into...
You know, when this show started, I was worried that they'd change Jonathan's character from the comics (where he's just a really wholesome kid) and give him all sorts of unnecessary drama like a CW show would. I'm actually really happy with the way he's portrayed in this show. While he's not quite the same as his comic book counterpart, he's still a genuinely good person who cares about his brother.
I know I'm just in denial or whatever, but I'm still not convinced Jonathan isn't going to get powers. He's been so mature & has tried to see the bigger picture in everything, I love him. I think his powers are going to manifest after something major, he's too level-headed to have them shake loose over something small....I'm hoping this happens, he deserves it.
I’m bummed that we’re not getting any crossovers this year. Being that it’s supergirls final season I would’ve loved to see her interact with the Kent brothers.
The suit is Kryptonian tech like the New 52 Suit. I even think the suit forms around his cloths like it and yes I believe all the Kryptonite and damage to the suit is digital.
When Eric was all "it would've been interesting to see how difficult it was for Jonathan parenting Clark," in my head, I heard Smallville Lex's line: "So...why did Jonathan Kent always seem so stressed? Was raising the perfect son really that much work? I wonder how much of a strain it put on his heart..."

I’m very much enjoying this show
I hope they keep up the quality
An angry Superman is a terrifying thing.
u think thats terrifying go watch the movie superman vs the elite, there's one scene in particular and possibly my fav scene cause it shows just how terrifying superman can be if he were to lose it or go nuts/dark, man such a good scene.
@@waterphoenix857 oh I saw that movie multiple times. It's really great, and yes, Superman taking out the Elite was bloody awesome.
I agree, I feel like a lot of characters on the Flash at least already had their arcs and are just sticking around because fans like them so much.
Faster then a locomotive! Superman & Lois is back baby! You don't tug on Superman's cape and you don't shoot him with Kryptonite! That shot of him mad was my favorite of series! Lana & Lois teamup!
Tyler can play vulnerable and sweet an then angry killer. If you have ever watched teen wolf you would know. Great actor
Eric, buddy, just saw the shirt you're wearing. Gotta say, that's a freaking clever design, kudos to you guys for that.
With the quality of the show I wonder how crossover episodes will look with the show when everything goes back to normal
Don't know if anyone noticed but I find it interesting that his suit started to repair itself once he took the bullets out.
Damn Aaron’s kids sound like a good time. Kanan’s reasoning for spitting out the butterfly was great.
The New 52 version of Superman used a kryptonian battle-armor suit. It looked fabric thin, but in reality it was some kind of kryptonian nano-tech.
One of the BEST SUPERMEN shows in a LONG time.
When Aaron got emotional in the laser eyes into Clarks hand I also got emotional while watching it for the 1st time
I totally agree 100% with Aaron that the punch wasn't an accident. Jordan purposefully threw that punch with the intent to hit the other guy.
100% agree! I have enjoyed Jordan and Jon’s progression thus far! And I like that Clark in this instance was much more firm in his stance in regards to Jordan’s powers.
And I would've 100% let Jordan punch that guy in the face.
@@sethgibson5148 He could've died though but I don't blame Jordan for getting emotional.
Pretty sure that soldier with the kryponite gun 💩 himself when Superman ran up to him with eyes blazing like that
Good Lord this show is so effing good. The kids who play Jonathan and Jordan are phenomenal.
Kudos to Clark for that kitchen speech to Jordan.
Aaron- 6:50- LMAO 🤣🤣
Jonathan is the cannon son of superman
I really enjoyed this episode. Glad it's back
Same here
"To pay some millennial to get a few sixers" and that is when I officially felt old🤣
I'm loving how much of a dad Clark is
Love Clark nearly going All Homelander on the army troops ;)
“They put in a quarterback who couldn’t throw? What?” - Me watching every Army/Navy game
Lol
I love this Show... Amazing Performances and good mystery box too... Tyler as Superman and Clark both is 🔥🔥
Also I felt that when Eric said "This is Family"...
I mean I am 100% on board with you. this show really has a good family stuff than the Flash..
Best live action Superman portrayal imo
I've been watching Arrowverse for years. Loved all the series. I've been a Supergirl show fan. And watched during the Superman and Lois hiatus. In my opinion Superman and Lois so far is the best arrowverse show. It has real believable characters. It doesn't have to corny characters like Brainy or Elongated man. The stories are awesome. The acting is top notch.
Now that heat vision of Jordan that Clark took is the real "power of love". He should have been the paragon of love.
"that's a good evil face" - yep!!!
This show is AAAAWWWEEESSSOMMMEEE!!! I was surprise!
I think the end scene is a "just Jordan" situation. I think it may actually be a new power manifesting. Possibly even something that Clark doesn't have or hasn't yet tapped into...
It’s probably a sensory overload due to his hearing and senses heightening
@@vodwale Also very possible and more likely...
So many trust was broken this episode lol
I really loved this episode, really liking the show
You know, when this show started, I was worried that they'd change Jonathan's character from the comics (where he's just a really wholesome kid) and give him all sorts of unnecessary drama like a CW show would.
Being that it’s supergirls final season I would’ve loved to see her interact with the Kent brothers.
this show is so good it gets me scared that down the line it will get ruined
The suit is Kryptonian tech like the New 52 Suit. I even think the suit forms around his cloths like it and yes I believe all the Kryptonite and damage to the suit is digital.
When Eric was all "it would've been interesting to see how difficult it was for Jonathan parenting Clark," in my head, I heard Smallville Lex's line: "So...why did Jonathan Kent always seem so stressed? Was raising the perfect son really that much work? I wonder how much of a strain it put on his heart..."
Eric being easily impressed at a dude holding another dude in front of a blue screen with basic cloud sims is hilarious.
The compositing was great though
