WUPPERTAL, GERMANY TRAVEL VLOG - A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE RIDING DE WORLD’S OLDEST MONORAIL

The highlight of our visit in Wuppertal is riding their monorail. For the locals it is their metro or tram. For me i thought of it as a fun attraction or maybe for tourists too. I never even know that it started operating since 1901. A testament that Germany is one of the best when it comes to engineering works. This particular type of suspension tram/railway is called Schwebebahn and travels over a river called Wupper. It was fun riding this monorail with my friends. Tip: the best seat is at the very back of the Schwebebahn where you get a large window and enjoy the scenic view.
