At 13:00 I see on the track the button for setting off,mid , near and far. But under it another button to set binaural position setting. What is difference between those two buttons? I’m confused. 😮
Good question. That is for the Atmos group the object is assigned to and doesn't have anything to do with actual binaural settings. For me, I have groups created that correspond to different binaural settings so that's what you're seeing. They are really just labels for my own reference to make sure the binaural settings are correct for that object based on the strategy I had been using for assigning objects. I talk a little more about this strategy in this video: th-cam.com/video/AyIWj2ZYqoQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Q28ZLA44Mhqs8w-Z&t=531
Del and I have touched on this in passing, but it SEEMS like Avid is really stepping it up after this private investor acquisition, unless I'm jumping the gun. They're doing great stuff, though!
do u have a video explaining how you hear those rerender Aux tracks. I'm a bit lost on the routing/creating of monitor busses. also my internal renderer only gives me 2.0, 2.0 direct and binaural for monitor choices.
I might talk about it in this video: th-cam.com/video/MyXP2zRKows/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7-3GyANuP_H_FKFE Basically, they route to different Pro Tools outputs that show up on my monitor controller.

I had/have issues downloading the new update. It also appears to be others having the same issues.
Great

I think it's greate how quickly they incorporated some of the Atmos updates that were in the latest Dolby renderer. I hope it continues.
Hi David, thanks for the video. How do you manage to have the binaural settings on your stream deck ?
I created some SoundFlow scripts to change them.

Pity dolby atmos is still not supported by youtube. 5.1 digital dolby and dts are supported.
Hope TH-cam eventually does.
you should call your video Pro Tools 2024.6 Atmos just 1 Update review from the hole rest
