    During the lockdown I bought a soundock 1 on shopgoodwill. Fast forward, now have 5 different soundocks including the series 1,2,3 and the portable soundock. Amazing sound quality.

    Thanks so much I was hearing interference and the sound was barely audible on my Sounddock, I followed your video and even though the pins on the ribbon looked flush I reseated anyway thinking it wouldn’t have solved the issue. However it did! Now working perfectly with perfect audio & zero interference! Thankyou again 😊

    My Series I Type A was charging but no sound (using the DockLinQ adapter). I seriously thought it was the sound processor but I rotated the plug going into my wall outlet 180 degrees and it worked. Some weird polarity sensitivity, but it may be a quick solution for some people who think it's their sound processor failing.

    Do you still do sound processor repair?

  • @MegaPaul2006

    Hi, tried figuring out / repairing the convoluted audio jack but really it’s a mess. Where did you get the replacement board and what is the part #, etc. I give up.

    I have 2 Bose Sounddocks Series 1 Type A, I tested them with an iphone 4 and it plays music, it does not charge. If I buy one of those Invery Bluetooth 30 pin adaptor, from Amazon will it work? Will it charge and play my music?

    I am having a problem with no sound, using Bluetooth Ziocom adapter and it is getting power but there is no sound coming from my Bose sound dock. I had not used tgis sound dock in over 10yrs and then found this Ziocom Bluetooth device and was able to finally hear music and it sounded fantastic. But now after using it in and off for about a year there is no more sound ? What do yout think?

    Hi, I have this Soundock and the only problem I have is that the speakers are not as loud as they used to be, could something be loose inside...?

    Hope I can get advice on this. From a repair/durability perspective would you recommend a type A or B Sounddock? Understand the risk with old electronics but wondering which is more reliable.

    • @ispens
      @ispens  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The B type is slightly better but more difficult to fix when it fails as the board burns up. (Unless we have done the power modification).

    Hi, i'm thinking about buying a second hand one, but they don't have the remote. Can I still turn it on and operate the volume, just changing the songs manually on the ipod classic? Many thanks.

    • @razenby
      @razenby 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can control all the same functions with the iPod/iPhone screen and dock volume controls that you can do with the infrared remote.

    Hi, have a question what is the difference between Sounddock original Type A y Type B , thanks

    • @ispens
      @ispens  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      |The internal electronics in the amplifier and the sound processor module. No parts are compatible between A and B.

    I have the same doc with s/n# 049867991270099AE. My dock plays music from the phone( I4) when placed on the dock, but doesn't charge.. It does charge from a wall plug in. What could be the issue? Do you have the power cable for sale?

    • @ispens
      @ispens  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      See The invebo website for full diagnostic videos. This dock should charge your iPhone 4. Serial Numbers that start in 0498 (Series 1 Type B) should give 2 beeps when you plug in the power. If you get the beeps then you require a new docking connector. If not contact invebo support. Note: Docks with serials starting 0357 and 0402 (Type A) do not give a beep so this diagnostic is NOT valid for these series 1 SoundDocks..

    Hi. I've checked the power supply and it's working and it's charging my device but I still don't get any sound. It was working until I unplugged it and relocated my dock to another room. Could this be the sound processor board? If so, do you ship to Canada?

    • @ispens
      @ispens  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ken, you are correct. The 'power and no sound fault'' is a failure on the sound processor. You can get the free diagnostic check or a fixed-price service and reliability upgrade on the invebo website.

      @@ispens Im from Argentina, i was planing to buy the Innexxis BC20 NFC Bluetooth 5.0 Upgrade Kit.
      But if the sound processor is broken, it wont work. Wont it?
      I dont want to spend 100USD for the board and the upgrade kit.

    I have the same Dock I've added a Bluetooth receiver and when played sound crackling and quiet and ideas or suggestions?

    • @ispens
      @ispens  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most Bluetooth plug in devices use very cheap chip sets and very poor Audio Codec. properly matched audio means that you cant tel the difference in sound quality between a docked device and Bluetooth. If the adaptor uses the $1 chip set the sound will not be good. The invebo BC7 uses Cambridge Silicon - the inventors of Bluetooth. If you need assistance please contact support@invebo.com

    can you help me i have a series 1 sounddock and can not get remote to work is there a way you program it or what may be the problem thanks ricky

    • @invebocustomerservice2832
      @invebocustomerservice2832 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ricky, if the remote controls the volume OK but cant navigate the ipod then it is the dock connector failed. If nit, to check the remote, Take a look at the remote in a dark room with your cellphone camera. Can you see w white dot when you press a button? If not then your emote is dead. Battery?

    Hi, i have a type B One, I guess as it's black colour, UK version.
    All I have a boot up sound.
    Dock is charging the ipod.
    What it could be?
    If it's the sound processor, do you think we get the boot up sound?
    Please reply.
    Many thanks

    Our unit has the audio volume going up and down is this a common problem?

    • @ispens
      @ispens  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      A common fault usually caused by the docking connector board.
