    Hey Teachkart, could you tell me how you got your values for heat flux, convection, and radiation.

  • @enrgyneers
    @enrgyneers 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Main thing is to find the amount of Heat Flux due to friction and the Overall Heat Transfer Coefficient. Does Ansys support the frictional heat generated due to rigid body motion.??

    there is no option to 'imprint faces' in operation under extrude feature in ansys 2020. is there any other way?

    Hi. I am doing a very simmilar project. I was given an .igs file of a disc brake and want to use this methood to analyse it. However when I try to select "imprint faces" the option is not there! Any thoughts on why? I am using ANSYS 14.5 workbench but I think the option shoud still be there.

    If Ansys does not support frictional heat generated, base on what can we calculate variation of temparature between two object in contact?

    does the symmetry region simulate the breaking on the other side of the rotor? does not seem to affect the temps generated without it
