I always have an issue with it drying horribly. It will go on beautiful, yet smudge the next day. One would think it is finally dry and the next day it smudges? This has happened since I first bought OPI in 2017. Tried over and over again. I have tried so many different methods including a small layer of laquer to dry quickly, then layered and capped with top coat but the formula is not very good and un-reliable. Sometimes a chunk of my nail will chip off with the polish 😣 How come this happens? Other nail polish brands dry in half the time and stay on longer. I am looking up videos on how other people handle their OPI 💅... This is a huge mystery since the colours look so vivid and unqiue in the packaging and bottle yet perform poorly.
I also had this issue, I found a solution that has been working well for me for a few years now. I simply use the OPI base coat as top coat. I don’t even bother buying the actual top coat any longer, I just use base as the first and last coat. I know this comment is two years old now, but just in case anyone else is struggling with this same issue, that’s what’s worked for me for a few years now. 😊
@@OPIProducts I bought OPI nail lacquer and I have the same problem. After 30 minutes or more, the polish is still sticky. If anything happens to touch the nail, the polish is damaged. How long do I have to wait for each coat to dry? 1 hour for each coat? That is 3 or 4 hours. This stuff is useless!!!!
@prod. cyberstarr - You're human, right? ;-) Good news is you can apply nail polish exactly the same to ladies' and men's fingers! Just make sure your skin is healthy and unbroken. If you have dry skin, you may need to moisturise your hands beforehand. Works for me! :-)
This person can’t even paint nails correctly. They had to go off camera to fix that cuticle line mess. This is so upsetting to see when my boss nitpicks me for a misaligned spec near the cuticle and OPI uploads slop to get views.

My nails seem to never fully dry even after 30 minutes. They remain sticky to the touch and canbe damaged easily :/ how do I fix this
Hi there! We suggest letting each coat dry thoroughly and using a drying accelerator such as Drip Dry or RapiDry. We hope this helps!

Hi there! Often times, the coat is applied too thick. Always apply in thin coats and allow them to dry in between. Hope this helps!
