These are wonderful, wearable styles for me in a snowy part of Canada. Cashmere, tartan, preppy styles all work so well for me as a university professor. I need to keep warm in my old stone building, while looking professional!
Absolutely love your laughter and humour, Marie-Anne. Also seeing beautiful French Chic ladies from the community featured in your videos is truly inspiring. Merci beaucoup ❤
I have recently purchased a maxi coat and even though I am petite, it works! I love cashmere and have many colors and styles. I also have 7 different colors of the same turtleneck style and they are so versatile. Love the preppy look, always have. Yeah to tartan. Love your personality. Thanks for the video.
Hello Marie-Anne, I like your humoristic Videos, they make me often smile. Please do never stop them and I am thanking you soooo much for them. 😃 🙋♀️ 🐴😃😁
I said more to come and hear it is, I am literally changing my kitchen and reorganizing my cabinets to be French Chic. Bringing the good pieces to the front and no longer waiting for a special occasion.
I loved all of the above, thank you Marie-Anne for another informative and fun video. It is so nice when you feature your French Chic ladies to illustrate a look you’re talking about 🥰
It is lovely to be able to show that this channel is for real women making real style choices Lucie 😃 I love seeing how my French Chic Ladies are adapting what they learn to their lives ❤️
I have a nice Michael Kors coat in a magnificent pink. Bought a pink and creme color long soft scarf. Im in Rhode Island and its getting cold. Tomorrow Im gonna belt the scarf over the coat like you showed. Good idea 💡
I like all of these trends Burgundy is one of my favorite colors to wear - no matter if it's in or not. I'm actually sitting here in a burgundy monochromatic outfit (shoes and skirt by Vince, sweater by Madewell, headband by J Crew - i highly recommend Vince - they always seem to do many burgundy clothes) The 50s styles sound interesting. I like it but have never worn it
Love all these trends, Marie-Anne. Beautiful outfits. My all time favourites are turtleneck jumpers, maxi coats, plaids, vintage (mainly 60s style) accessories and burgundy/maroon colours. I've recently got a couple of mock neck brushed cashmere (one similar to the one you're wearing), a few midi skirts, ones in corduroy and others in wool tartan, and a plaid maxi coat without knowing their were trendy. The scarf you're wearing is to die for, you look stunning! Staying chic during winter is guaranteed following your advice. Merci ❤
Marie, something is different with you; please share. You look refreshed and vibrant. Perhaps a marvelous spa trip, special facial or particular type of peel? Is it a filter that takes years off?) How did you age backward so quickly? To add to your awesome look, your positive energy and enthusiasim is simply infectious.
I love wearing wool turtleneck in the winter, also the half turtle neck, I have them in many colours, navy blue, grey/bluish, brown, army green, ivory white, bright red. And I pulled out from the back of my closet and old winter coat. The fabric i wool, it's maxi, black with a built-in scarf, and the scarf is burgund on the inside. I havn't used it in years, but it gets a new chance to shine this winter.
I love a good belt with almost everything. And a turtleneck is so versatile (I wear a sleeveless one under a long sleeve cotton shirt). Who doesn't love cashmere?! I love all the trends but I do love preppy style as it reminds me of my college days. Excellent work!! 😍🦩🥰🦩❤️☀️☺️😊❤️🥰❤️🥰
I am ready for Winter: I adapt some details from the each segment depending on my day and the weather; the must be a 3/4 ship skin dark green /black jacket and the wool /hand made skirt /military boots and the ship skin hat/hunting bag and voila! Winter in Toronto. Thank you Mare Anne and warm greetings to you in Bretagne. Thanks for Adelaine and her Stuff modeling .
Love your picks for this winter! 😊 navy, burgundy, grey, olive green YES! May I say, I've just seen your video from years ago with your longer hair. Sooo pretty! 🤩 can't you grow it like that again, please ❤
Wow 🤩 a whole list of trends I like ❤ the only thing I don’t have is cashmere. Hopefully I will find something in my thrifting adventures. I love your plaid skirt. What a beautiful piece! Thanks to you I have upped my belt game. They never used to be my thing but now I really enjoy adding them to my outfits.
Fabulous video! Yes to belts, turtlenecks, and burgundy. 2 years ago I had a choice of brown or burgundy shiny leather shearling lined biker and... chose burgundy! I also have knee length tooled leather burgundy boots, 20 years old. It is a no to scarf coats: I enjoy choosing a scarf. Definitely no English country style... I lived in deepest Cumbria for 41 years, and am not looking back 😅
I love all the looks, Marie Anne! I have pretty much all of them, minus the cashmere which is too pricey for me. I have been following you for a few months and you have strongly inspired me to open my already intense love of fashion to include real style. You are my favorite influencer because you are so real, fun, silly at times, and lovely. Thank you! By the way, my one-year old granddaughter’s name is Adeline, pronounced the English way. 😊
Awwww merci Mara 🤗 that sums up my approach to Style 😃 a big hug to Adeline as well 🤗 did you manage to get the sub titles working on my Channel with Adeline? They can be tricky there was a community post I did here th-cam.com/channels/3iINwXX6oQ0DqfE1SQ-S-w.htmlcommunity?lb=UgkxkbMR3zJCAwXXGB1foghfm3XYBK-xquuE
Hehe, I always get compliments on my Maxi coat! It's a vintage piece from the 80's or 90's and I LOVE it! It might be trendy now but trust me, that type of coat has staying power! I think the scarf coats might go out pretty quickly tho, maybe go with a cheaper on one of those if you want to try the trend. 🤔
Marie-Anne love your video and your humor. I'm really sweating, over +30 C and humid , yesterday thunder and flash flooding, so none of those outfits for me at the moment. All look so lovely though. ❤❤❤
Thank you for another wonderful video, Marie-Anne. Can you you tell me - is the caramel-coloured cardigan part of a twin-set, and is brushed cashmere softer than normal cashmere? Also, I love your scarf - it really suits you!
I do find brushed cashmere a little softer as the hairs are raised and 'fluffed up' 😃 The cardigan you can buy it by itself and is linked in the description 😃 hope this helps x
Love the outfit you're wearing, Marie-Anne. You look so chic and elegant. So glad that satin, preppy and country chic are a big favourite as its timeless elegance will always be admired. Your recent video with Adeline on how to combine prints is so well illustrated with helpful advice and lovely modelling as well. Merci ❤❤❤
I have a few statement belts. The buckle is similar to the Call the Midwife belts. Burgundy is my newest passion. Goes with so many of my staples! Live the shawl/belt idea! I love the scarf you are wearing! This was a very affirming video for me! Thanks, Marie-Anne!
OMG Satin, the worst fabric for chubby women. Satin makes every little wobbly part look extra wobbly. One cannot have enough nice sweaters and cardigans, especially cashmere. Burgundy collides with my skin tone, I like the colour but the colour does not like me in return. V-Necks are my favourite, skirts are a no go, button down shirts I do have lots of, jackets the same, short jackets especially because I am short.. The English country style is what I can pull off easily. Most of the items are classics. I am not old enough for pearls though. Give it another ten years or so. Shoot I own one pearl necklace, maybe I should remove the dust.

These will certainly do that Kristina 😃
Try turning the neck of turtlenecks inward instead of outward. They stand up better and you can make them taller if you want.
Good tip for a cold day
I learned this last winter and it was a game changer! So much better looking and stays in place better, too.
Nice tip merci for sharing 😃
Thank you😊
Yes I always do this too 🧡
I’m excited for burgundy! It’s so flattering and versatile.
It is such a great colour ❤️
I like your taupe mock turtleneck - looks like a comfortable, versatile piece.
It is super comfortable and very versatile Ms A 😃
I agree that turtlenecks are very comfortable. I have a lot of them.

I love tartan at this time of the year. I also love the chance to wear my leather gloves. Plus long coats with a bit of weight and swing.
It seems to be made for this time of year Patricia 😃

Keep it Grey hair rocks
A good discussion with you hair stylist is the best thing Amy they will know your hair and what it can take better than anyone 🙏
@@MarieAnneLecoeur I need suggestions , I love the grey ,
If you love the grey that is fine. In general I think shorter grey hair is more flattering but there are some very notable exceptions!😃

I agree about satin for larger ladies Trude and do dust off those pearls 😃
Love your new hair style….but maybe time to lighten or let go gray….as our hair thins….the dark shade is not flattering…..
