+Mykoue Yang I think generally the British made speakers are not for music like heavy metal, rock and roll etc. They are excellent for vocals, jass, small bands, classical and orchestral music.
So according to socksumi the lack of bass and weight is a sign of "low coloration, accuracy and naturalness of timbre ." I agree with Yang that it sounds light. It's always "pretty" but never beautiful. Sorry, it does not sound natural to me.
Would be interresting to hear the different tweeter settings.
I love the old vintage Naim!!!!
SONIDO MARAVILLOSO. GRACIAS
Very nice speakers,I have a pair of Studio 1.
This LS-5/9 is the "classic" version.

I can tell this kind of sound is very pretty but thats about it. There's no weight to the sound and unfortunately that's makes it unreal for me.

I would never compromise low coloration, accuracy and naturalness of timbre for "weight". If you want more bass just add a subwoofer.

very VERY rare,
Everything sounds clean but lacks "bloom" or harmonic richness. It's a sound some people like and that's fine with me.
