💯 toughest fish out, throughout the land based summer run they get caught and released off the cliffs no worries !

Yeah it’s just the scull and crossbones I think it’s pretty standard ?
I use different icons for different styles of fishing like if I’m marlin fishing, bottom fishing or diving all different icons so I can distinguish

Gaffing Cobia for a photo ain’t cool bud, they swim off but they won’t live for long.
At a time when us rec fishos are under a lot of pressure for fisheries etc it’s not a good look 👎🏻

They are one of the hardest fish out, they get recaptured at the Quobba summer run with gaff holes in them all the time
But il agree, not the best look, I’ve done it now and you can’t go back so il live with it

I’ve fished Quobba plenty and haven’t seen these holy Cobia your referring to. I think it’s pretty ignorant to think those fish will be fine, shows a lack of experience IMO
You cant undo the gaff shot now but you could give your video a quick edit so the people that come across this vid don’t assume that’s normal practice, anyway something for you to think about going forward I reckon
