Heck yeah, those feeder creeks have been real good to y’all, I like that pickwick and that Benton, Holy Cow on that Bear Creek, what a massive point, there sure is a lot of red jasper in Mississippi, maybe that little elephant was a prelude to what’s to come lol, maybe there’s a big ole tusk waiting on y’all, those big ammonites you found trip me out, Glad to see you uploading again, hopefully there’s many treasures to come, Thanks For Sharing Bud, GL&HH 👊🏹
My dog was laying 10 ft from me asleep. She heard you ask your dog if it wanted to go to the creek. Her head shot up,ears arched over starring at me. She knew exactly what you said. Nice Bear Creek find. I dont know if them are in central Indiana or not. I hit my hot creek last week. I hadn't hunted it since mid fall. Leaves had it covered. It had flooded 3 times since then. I found 2 hartbrakers right out the gate. Got excited didn't find another thing in 6 hours of walking. It got washed out again 2 days ago. Don't know when ill be able to walk it. Creeks treated me well in 2021. Found more than I've found in 3 years of creek walking. Glad i decided to put some time and effort into creek hunting. Thanks for sharing.
🤣🤣...Man Bella is the best dog I've ever owned...I raised her in the creek from about 5 months old....when I get my waders out...she gets up and stretches and starts biting at my hand...😂🤣. She's been there for many finds.
Also..keep prospecting any ditch you can...it's just a matter of time before you find the next honey hole...I still find new ditches in the three counties I've been hunting 25 years
Lord forgive me! No matter how many points I find I'm always jealous of the stuff you find! Kudos on being able to stay focused after walking all day and not finding anything. Man I wanna be back in a creek sifting gravel! Congratulations on some great finds my friend. Hope to see you at the Meridian show.
Always look forward to your videos! Your self taught knowledge has increased multifold since I first started watching! Definitely my favorite channel for arrowhead and fossil hunting. You are genuine!
Glad your back. Great stuff. Even the brokers are killer, and that petrified pygmy elephant 🐘 was great. 🤣🤣, I'm glad you're back. Can't wait to see what happens next.
I enjoy your videos out of the many Indian artifact videos on TH-cam. Thank you. I dug for 40 years in SW Louisiana and just about every place to dig are deer hunting leases now
@@Theditchwalker I got a chuckle when I saw you unearth the elephant! In all your collections you must have one that includes the "craziest" things you've come across...?!
It really is..and is the prominent material in my area. Luckily for me.,that does not happen very often in Northern Mississippi with our little dusting of snow we received overnight..🙂....My pleasure.,thanx for commenting
@@Theditchwalker very pretty up there. I’m in SW Colorado In Anasazi country at 7,500 feet we got hit with 3 feet of snow in a week over the holiday. Happy hunting !
I found my first point a year ago in a creek beside where my grandpa used to farm. It's now logging woods but at the time he was farming evertime he plowed they would find arrowheads and artifacts. Even had archeologists out one time to look at an Indian burial ground.
Man thank you for another great video. As much walking as y’all do you deserve every point you Find period and that bear creek is awesome. Take care stay safe
The last year has been real tough...but it's beginning to open up. I have lost my sifting spots to sand and land being sold...so I'm searching for my next dig site. Thanks for commenting Ben
Wow! Love that little bear creek point and the finely serrated edge! Glad your back brother bc we’ve been missing those north Mississippi feeders we all love and wish we had near…hope the winter weather gives y’all a break this year and keeps the creeks open for your surface hunting?! I have to work a lot harder this time of year in mid tenn to get on ‘em, it’s just part of it…good luck and look forward to your upcoming hunts!!!
@@Theditchwalker same here and not just with the artifacts. I'm in North Central Florida in Alachua County. Pretty neat history in this area. Seminole territory big time. I'm sitting in an area known by locals as the Seminole Trail which is just south of the Old Spanish Trail. Anyways, in my yard I've been digging up some pretty cool small tools etc. My best guess is I'm in an old camp site. It sure is a good time.
Nice bear creek and a few other really nice ones! Been a minute since we’ve seen or heard out of ya. Good to see you back in the water! Hopefully some spring showers clean out some silt and you fill a bunch of frames!
LMAO, When the video started I was looking at my black dog and saying you want to go outside and I realized that we we in exactly synced. Right on my brother and I enjoy watching. Thanks
These light rain and snow mixes we’ve been getting down here in the Delta have made the sandy cotton ground get all fluffy and the warm weather we had earlier let the henbit weed take off so some of my sites are mostly covered . Hopefully the storms they’re calling for Thursday will give my clear sites a good washing. If you see a copy of Delta Magazine up there my stuff is on the cover of the January/February edition and you can check out some of the points from down here in the flats
I produce the content as it comes...the last couple of years have been very rainy and lots of erosion that has sanded the creeks in and slowed the finds...I can be very picky about the content I upload. I set the bar high.,and hold myself to that standard... I appreciate you subscribing
that heart breaker would have been a killer blade. really like the long point , them 4inch ones are far and few. i have picked up lots of mastodon teeth but thats the first complete critter that i have seen found.
nice! looks like a turtle back scraper right beside that point, I just went after two years but found a nice Adena. it's a start, last collection was stolen then he burned my house
Thanks I appreciate it Jana....I've been studying point types since I was 12...I am now 47...I absolutely love it and do it with great passion. Thanks for commenting
Your videos are so fascinating! I'm sure its really just years and years of experience but how are you able to date these pieces so easily? What characteristic give away a points age? I'm really curious how you can tell a point is 5k years old and another is 1.5k years old. Keep the videos coming, great content! Thank you for sharing.
Now that's what I call an action packed episode with a grand finale! Wicked rock there
