This is a trailer from the movie, which is action packed, but yeah the series is very slow paced, safe from some small arcs here and there, it's really good though.
It's because it's made with old school traditional cel animation, aka the classic hand drawn analog way to make all animation before the advent of digitization at the turn of the millennium. As such, everything looks more raw and more *real* .
I don’t think people understand how popular this anime was when it was released. Multiple seasons and OVAs, a movie, and a live action adaptation. It’s sad we don’t hear too much about it now

Wait a minute. When I clicked on this video it said that it was a trailer for season one. That wasn’t footage from season one that was footage from the feature film. So are you guys releasing the feature film or season one?

AnimEigo, then later ADV Films' English dub versions have took so much liberties like adding unnecessary lines and audio tracks which did not come from the original Japanese dub version. Also, the incessant use of American colloquialism which btw, even the non-American English speaking folk (myself included) will scratch their heads of why the hell it included there like the reference line of "Clint Eastwood" for example! #facepalm 🤦♂️

This was way too progressive when they added a trans or was it, crossdresser, as a side character but was present in most episodes throughout the series. Damn its a shame that they could not renew this at all.

This one is the movie, came out during 1999. I was 7 when I saw this movie. It was very good.
