I prioritize the scraps. As you get to the later game and use recycling edicts, it really reduces the amount of ore being used as recycled materials go first. Its more useful for iron and steel.

Its a good rule of thumb to prioritize the scraps, but once your on belt feed smelters it really shouldnt matter

Now I have a good plan for the next play through. But why put the steamoutput to the outside so it isn’t tillable?

They are tileable in a left and right, I choose to take the steam the other way as thats where I had room in this demo map, but you could reverse the pipes and deal with steam and exhaust on the same side, thats what I did in my lets play
