- WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER VIDEO!
In this episode we wake up in the transient town of Katherine where we explore the beautiful hot springs (which weren’t so hot). These hot springs are only a short walk from the Riverview Top Park, making it perfect for an early morning dip before the crowds hit.
Next we head South 100km to Mataranka and Bitter Springs. We stay at the Mataranka Caravan Park where we walked to the man made thermal pool. The next day we drove 10 minutes up the road to Bitter Springs which is home to the natural lazy river. Make sure you take a noodle or ring to float on.
Edith Falls was our FAVOURITE swim spot in NT (so far). The National Park campgrounds are very well kept with hot showers, flushing toilets, kiosk and super green sites.
Then onto beautiful Litchfield National Park. We stayed at the Wangi Falls campground for a cheap $6.60 per adult. We stayed just 2 nights due to the heat and being off power (not the best sleeping weather). Make sure to check out Buley Rockholes which was another one of our faves.
We hope you enjoy this video and feel free to ask us any questions.
Happy travelling guys!!

Hi team . Awesome video . Just checking at Litchfield are most of the roads to the swimming holes unsealed and require 4wd to drive on the roads . Planning my trip 😊😊
Hello,
Thanks for watching the video. All the roads we went on were sealed. I don’t think a 4WD is required at all for Litchfield 👍🏽👍🏽
Very nice video
Thank you Louisa
Love it 😍
Thank you xx
Gday guys. Loved your video. Just wanted to comment on the fishing line holding up the Akubra....love it and will be borrowing your idea for the hilux. Cheers legends
Thank you for watching 🥰🥰
Which of these have crocs
Hi guys. I've only just found your channel. I've got some binge watching to do.
Can you give me the theory behind the baby powder and the ants please.
Welcome Peter! 👍🏽
Apparently they breath through their skin so the powder sticks to them and they die 🤔(Apparently)
Are there crocs at any time at any of the springs or waters you guys went to?
Sometimes in the wet season you can get crocs make their way into the swimming areas but they do have traps and all National Parks with workers who check this daily 😊
They do shut lots of swimming holes in the wet.
I noticed she ignored when you mentioned about the huge anthill comment
I’ve learnt to ignore the silly comments haha 🤣🤣
What month of the year was this please?
Hey Kathy!
I think it was beginning of November
@@CaravanAdventureAus awesome thank you. We start our big adventure in March and should be there around October we think. We cannot wait. Watching your videos gives us such inspiration thank you xox
Everybody gangsta until a crocodile shows up
Haha that’s right 😱 there is fresh water croc in some of these places.
Its very unlikely to get salties in these National Parks 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Two of you acting like teenagers, brand new lovers, just fell in love with each other only a day ago or something. LOL 💕💑💕
