    Great North Rhone summary. I prefer the North Rhone wines to the much more heralded Bordeaux and Burgundy regions.

      I think it is one of the absolutely beautiful wine making region (wine and area) and definitely will increase in the importance in the future. 🍷 Cheers!

    I have walked the Nth Rhone from south to north over 4 days. A great way to see the area. 🍷🥾

    well done again Agnes! For me are at least 4 years without drinking a single drop of a French grape variety since we moved to Sardinia. When I was in Belgium, in Bruges, I had the opportunity to drink French and other world wine countries any time I would..plenty of choices both in supermarkets or professional wine sellers. I had an Hermitage wine from "Cave de tain de l'Hermitage" if I remember well at a BBQ in one of the few hot Belgian summers and...what a hell of a wine it was! Fantastic!! Cheerrs Agnes, alla prossima

    Great video. Huge fan of Saint-Joesph. Domaine Coursodon Le Paradis Blanc and Rouge are wonderful and very reasonably priced. And who doesn’t like a LaLa. Cheers.

      Thank You! 🙌🙌🙌 I don’t have much opportunities to taste the LaLa wines, but I do enjoy Côte-Rôtie quite a lot. Actually Northern Rhone reds have grown on me. 🍷

    Love northern Rhone. Coincidentally, we are enjoying a 2013 Cornas from Perrin this weekend. Beautiful. The pair of reds we are tasting blind in a couple of weeks with friends will be: N v S Rhone, 2015 ( Crozes v Gigondas). I have two bottles of 2010 Hermitage: when to open the first one? Not before 2025, I think. The 2013 Cote Roties are drinking beautifully at the moment, incidentally. I also enjoy the occasional bottle of Condrieu but it is becoming expensive.
    Thanks for another enjoyable video.

    It must not be that great if it's not a major player!
    😁 Thanks for the education. Northern Rhone is interesting to me. Syrah was one of my winter red fascinations. Been going for Crozes as Hermitage tends to be rather pricey. I've has some really good ones, but I can't say that I have it mapped out in my head exactly. I'll figure it out eventually. Maybe :p

    • @NoSediment
      @NoSediment  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    You do an outstanding job introducing us to different wines. You might consider marketing a map summarizing the regions of French viniculture; there are so many renowned and unique production areas, big and small, and even on different sides of a river we can find vast differences in familiar and less well-known wine styles. You could also market Italian wine region maps, German Riesling maps, and the list goes on. I don’t mean singling out individual producers. It would help to place a region visually when you talk about them, and when we go to choose wines as consumers.

    Adore Condrieu. ❤️
    But Yves Cuilleron’s La Digue is a superb Roussanne.
