Nimue, also known as "the Queen of Blood" or "the Lady of the Lake," was the greatest of all British witches.
Nimue (played by Milla Jovovich) is a powerful witch who despises humans for what they have done to her kind. Once known as the Lady of The Lake, Nimue became the Queen of Blood when she switches her allegiance to the Ogdru Jahad. For those that don’t know, Ogdru Jahad is the great Dragon of Revelation, who would bring about the end of the world.

In my opinion i say that Milla Jovovich is one of the most underrated actress nowdays, she deserves more recognition

True. They say it does not justify her killing innocents. That's what you get when you abuse others. The victim might go insane when they are fed up already and those who wronged her implicated others who are innocent just like how she was also implicated. In reality, this is what happens when the corrupt are too much already resulting to the victims doing crimes such as hostage, theft and all. The world is unfair and not all are fairytails with happy ending. It's cause and effect. The innocents are the one who suffers and some goes for revenge then the cycle goes on.😑

Anyways Hellfire Club is basically my story of what if some of my favorite villains (which of course includes those four) teamed up and basically as the name suggest bring hellfire towards multiple worlds. The team leader you may ask is Maleficent (1959 version to be specific).

I like how much pressure the villain gives to me as an audience. The villain in this movie gives me chill because we know she's a senseless killer, and she will take innocent lives if we don't stop her, unlike Marvel's villains.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but i liked the villain more than Hellboy if they had the original hellboy in this movie it would be much better. This new hellboy talks way too much, comments on everything, continuously shouting, over the top in reaction to everything. First hellboy was more cool and collective a bit more headstrong too.

when i saw hellboy (2019) trailer, i decited to give a shot for 1 and 2. i like them. and i just finished (2019) version. i cant see what is the big deal in here. i fucking love it. action scenes are amazing, hellboy's character portrait was humorous, emotional, savage, tough and reckless(in other words just like i expected after 1 and 2). i was little upset about abe and liz's non-existance. but alice and jaguar man worked for me very well and i love three of their interactions.

Resident Evil spanned 6 films. The 4th one to the 6th one came out on top in the box office for the number 1 spot. It is also a billion dollar franchise when most movies can't reach that level of success except for movies like Marvel superhero movies. I don't call that a B movie.

I don't understand the crappy reviews Hellboy received from some of the usual useless critics like rotten tomatoes? Then again they always crap on good movies. I really enjoyed this flick.
It wasn't just reviews. The movie budget was 50M but it sold only 40M. So you can say it was a disaster both critically and financially.
Usual useless critics? It flopped critically, financially, and in terms of audience scores. Doesn't match the Hellboys that came before. Del Toro is great so no surprise there.
There are the people who just watch a movie for the action, ignoring everything else, and there are the ones who analyze the plot, story and dialog. I'm afraid you fit the first option.
