"Squid Game" Season 2's final episode has a massive amount of MP5 action (mostly MP5A3s, some A5s), and it's evident that unlike Season 1, most of the MP5s are real guns firing blanks (in Season 1, they were mostly airsoft guns). The show is practically making the MP5 great again.
The MP5 (short for Maschinenpistole 5) is a 9mm caliber submachine gun of German design, developed in the 1960s by a team of engineers at the arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch (H&K) in Oberndorf am Neckar, West Germany. There are over 100 variants of the MP5, including some semi-automatic versions.
I have 2 of them! I have an SP5 in .22lr... Yes I know it's semi and it's also not roller delayed like the 9mm version but not needed in .22. I also have a AP5k version that's 9mm semi but not made by HK only under their license and tooling! I don't have the money to pay $3500 for the same gun or let's say $45,000 for a pre 86 ban transferable! Instead I ordered a binary trigger which is almost as good!

That was actually extremely realistic when the guy in the zombie movie shoots the table leg. 9x19 will chew through wood and it was made to. So a few shots will probably destroy a table leg completely.

I like that half of the films and series are Korean produced including All of Us are Dead, and Squid Game.
