Heard this song the first time sometime after i graduated high school in 2011 and it changed me. I’m 31 and still come back to it because it just gets it.
I lived this story. I left some people I called family heartbroken, including myself. Many roads traveled, many lives loved and many changed my life and some sheltered me and my baby. This song chokes me up. Good for them for making some money via radio play!
Saw them open up forCage The Elephant a few years back at The Orpheum in Boston. The lead singer got the whole theater to sing a tune with him, it was amazing. They were the first act and they rocked the room
The only good thing I can take away from Hell in Colorado was discovering this group. Got the pleasure of seeing them live at some park for free in the middle of the night. Random and I'm glad we stopped.
The buzz is the worst radio station in Rock history... I switched the radio over there after 2 years of Sirius XM and they're still playing same crap that made me switch to Sirius...
I'm sad that I didn't hear this song when it came out. It sounds like all of the indy that I became obsessed with in college. This vibe is perfect and I'm glad it's on the radio now! *inb4 all the purists think I'm a poser 🤣*
Love this song so very much!!! Tennessee still ceases to amaze me when talent is discussed. All the songs in their library rock and roll in the best way!!!
excellent song, i remember listening to this in high school. never caught that line "girls feel the creative curse / men fight to make a life" ridiculously good writing
Thanks j roddy, for bringing back true, old school rock and roll. Saw these guys at the flying dog brewery. I'll see them every chance I get. Tech.muffin just doesn't know any better.
That song keep me calm(er) than usual, making me realize that idiots on the road are there to stay, so might as well concern myself not too strongly from this point forward
Why does a song playing on a major radio station negate its quality? Now I appreciate good music, as you can tell I am here listening to this song, but why do those of you who claim to like good music despise whatever song that is praised by pop culture regardless of it's quality. That's like not liking Alt-J only because they have 36+ million views on one of their songs. They are a fantastic band. Even with musicians we see often, it's actually very impressive the amount of musicality and work that goes into creating a hit song. So why, just because it became famous, is it a terrible song? You don't really love music. You love being better than other people. J. Roddy Walston and The Business is a fantastic band and if they get their songs played everywhere, good for them. They earned it.
I know the feeling of songs we want for ourselves but it's really selfish for some people not to want success for bands. If this song becomes a hit, I would be very proud of the general public and the band. The song is awesome and deserves more recognition.
+Genevieve Haley Best comment I've read ina LONG time. Its so true what you say about these pretentious hipster music snobs. You're right. They don't really love music. They just like thinking they're better than everyone else. They're so sinsecure with who they are as people they act this way and create this elitist mindset. The best is when a band like J Roddy Walston & the Business does gain mainstream fame these so called fans love to turn their backs on them as if they're suddenly above it because it's been accepted by the masses. Music snobs are the most hiarious turds on earth.
Genevieve Haley BC they over play them and the lineup they pick usually sucks so if u don't play a good song b4 this one then the listener isn't 100% involved in the song
The hipsters are going to cringe when this song gets big. Awesome band, awesome song and it rightly needs to make these gentleman gratuitous amounts of money :)
marti783 Yes, I know. I myself did not say Led ripped it off sublime i said other people were saying that. I hate when people thing songs are ripped off of others'
Awesome new music I found...OneforEveryoneMUSIC... "Eyes and Thighs" then listen to "therealestAK + SirenZ" and ask yourself... How can this be the same dude??
Great music here, I love this song, found it playing the Blues Party on Facebook's Songpop! But the video looks a bit homegrown and low budget - so the lead singer works as a Uber driver when he's not workin' with the band, lol ?!!
Three years later and I still don't know where this version comes from. I would really like to get a better quality recording of it to listen to. What a real drag,.....
This song and album are seriously in my top 5 of all time. 💙 these guys
Same this song is amazing I cant believe it never got more views
One of the most underrated bands ever.
This has been one of my favorite songs ever since my dad played it for me
Heard this song the first time sometime after i graduated high school in 2011 and it changed me. I’m 31 and still come back to it because it just gets it.
Why the fuck does this song kick so much ass
Because John Bonham came back to life for a bit to play the kit...
Hey J. Roddy and the business I’m back again because I love you guys. It’s a simple as that. I need you guys in my life regularly.
Massasssss
I lived this story. I left some people I called family heartbroken, including myself. Many roads traveled, many lives loved and many changed my life and some sheltered me and my baby. This song chokes me up. Good for them for making some money via radio play!
Thank goodness that there is still great music around.
Saw them open up forCage The Elephant a few years back at The Orpheum in Boston. The lead singer got the whole theater to sing a tune with him, it was amazing. They were the first act and they rocked the room

Memories of Williams, AZ! ❤
First time I heard this, I thought it was Dr. Dog. #compliment
Love Dr Dog!!
The only good thing I can take away from Hell in Colorado was discovering this group. Got the pleasure of seeing them live at some park for free in the middle of the night. Random and I'm glad we stopped.
I found this album 6 years ago when I was catfishing a woman from California. Thanks to that woman. Wish I didn't meet her while catfishing.
Heard it on the buzz, best radio station ever.

Houston's Buzz? Because Houston's buzz is horrible.
redwing634 KCMO 96.5 The Buzz.
The buzz is the worst radio station in Rock history... I switched the radio over there after 2 years of Sirius XM and they're still playing same crap that made me switch to Sirius...

"Friends can you feel me vibrate " . Saw these dudes open up for BlackBerry Smoke. They deserve their stage time , good tune and they have more.
Love this song so very much!!! Tennessee still ceases to amaze me when talent is discussed. All the songs in their library rock and roll in the best way!!!
I can't believe this only has 50,000 hits.
OMG pandora I love you sometimes
This dude's voice is amazing

Thanks j roddy, for bringing back true, old school rock and roll. Saw these guys at the flying dog brewery. I'll see them every chance I get. Tech.muffin just doesn't know any better.
Best thing from Tennessee since Jack Daniels
+James Peck this is better than alcohol man
That song keep me calm(er) than usual, making me realize that idiots on the road are there to stay, so might as well concern myself not too strongly from this point forward
This song is rather catchy. The "Ahhh"s remind me of those from Cults' "Go Outside", which is a plus in my book.
Love this song. I don't get why it's not popular ^.^
Kyle Gallner recommended these guys on his Instagram live stream and I am very glad he did! Loving what I've heard so far!
And so is the way of life!!!!!!!!!
love of my life where art thou
Keeping it Real and "low profile". Loving it and showing what not selling out w true talent IS!!!!
Good old fashioned R&R!
These guys are awesome. But I rarely hear them on the radio.

I totally agree. I think it's snob appeal, that they're "true" fans because the masses don't know about the songs they like.
I know the feeling of songs we want for ourselves but it's really selfish for some people not to want success for bands. If this song becomes a hit, I would be very proud of the general public and the band. The song is awesome and deserves more recognition.
