@@louisdisbury9759 love that. Can’t wait to tell the Mrs that 😁
Great job mate! I’d recommend covering the nice block paving with tarps or ply, to avoid any mortar Stains as pressure washers don’t usually get rid of them
Thank you mate, we did try telling our lazy labourer this but he wasn’t having none of it. Luckily the jet wash did get it out 🤯🤯🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
he never does lol

@@kevinhalligan5283 😂 where have you been?
Lovely job that mate just needs some nice caps on to finish it off
Thank you mate. There is a cap on the wall next door, the wall is about 100 years old and they’re getting the cap moulded to match. Will look banging once they’re on
Super Truppe und saubere Arbeit
Yeah man 😂👀⚡️⚡️⚡️
Nice job mate. Keep the videos coming. I’m a trowel aswell, do you not struggle in your little van? I’ve got a berlingo and still find it small. Having to take Bandstands, mixer wheelbarrow etc.
Thank you mate. Yeah I do struggle a bit but my brother who’s the other trowel in my videos also has a van so between the two of us it just about works. I’m looking to upgrade my van, not sure what one to go for
I know its not in the traditional flemish bond header ties the skins together, but on any brick that is so uninformed like the stocks , i like to snap the headers lay a wall tie over the top and control the face at the back to look flat as well , only time then it will be a size issue is when the b.o.e goes on , Nice brickwork ive now subscribed 👍
Yeah that’s a fair point, the stocks are all over the place, building a pier with them is bloody hard work 😂 wicked, thanks for subscribing, plenty of content for you to watch 😎
A beautiful bit of wall and most people will just walk by and take no notice. It’s not easy with stock bricks but if it wasn’t good people would soon point it out. So well done.
Thank you Peter I’ll take that 😎

Haha these cockney bricks are dog shit man! They are literally all over the gaff!
A good bricky can use any brick and make it look tidy. You cut and striking it yellow muck
@@user-mg2il5if8l it looks tidy don’t it? I think so any ways 😂
9/10 👍
Yes yes I’ll take that! Nice one mate 🤙🏻
Have to ask was the wood to save on concrete or another reason ?? If so I love it wish I had thought ov it lol 👌
Haha no not to save on concrete, basically she wants to grow plants inside the wall but if the concrete at the bottom was solid then their would be no where for the water to drain 😁 sounds clever for me right 😂
Half s bag is a bucket or four shovels
I like it pal Finnish’s it off with the house 🧱🧱🧱
Happy days. Thank you Simon!
Do they make a good looking wall ?
I would have gone for railings to suit the house.
Nice job though
Thank you mate 😁👍🏻
great job changy lad. pity i can only subscribe once.
Changy? 😂🤷🏼♂️
wow great job how much would roughly would a wall like this be to get done labour and materials
Thank you Simon. I think this was between 4/5k because we had to get a digger, pour footings and stock bricks are usually more expensive. Once I get the correct figure I’ll tell you

No ear or eye protection while using a concrete saw. That seems very smart.

@@AdamHatch😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@smurftastic3928 facts! 😂
Gauge is wrong 4:1 a bucket is about 4 shovels to a bucket. so 4:1 is 16 shovels to half bag cement being four shovels, use a bucket 🪣 to keep to gauge.
We have been lately. We always say a bag of cement is 4 shovels so a half bag is 2 shovels, so 8 shovels to half a bag. Is that wrong? Sounds right to me lol 😂🤷🏼♂️
Half a bag is a bucket which is four shovels
4 shovels in a bucket? you need a bigger shovel lol@@GaetanoCostanza
Should have got rough block fill in-between buts 225 cuts
Sorry what do you mean exactly??
I think he means conco block cut in half inside of those 2 brick piers adam, instead of using those Cockley bananas😁👍
