- Ex-Maldivian president Mohamed Nasheed temporarily relocates to Ghana without informing parliament. In a post on X, Nasheed said he is in Ghana's capital Accra to start work as the secretary-general of the climate vulnerable forum. The 56-year-old was the first president of Maldives from 2008 to 2012.
