This was useful - I also think Shark could make it more repairable - I have a spare clear plastic part but getting the old one out is extremely difficult, I was stuck at the motor end but seeing this helped. I will have another try tonight to see if I can get the new part in. Many thanks.
Not meant as a how to guide, just filming what I was doing that day 🤷 Cover is usually all the big screws underneath, then 2 tiny ones underneath the brushroll cover, and the 2 either side hidden under caps
Can you and is it possible to change the yellow brush roll. Cheers for the video. Mine was making a noise so I took mine apart like you but I found nothing wrong but still made a slight noise, I blame the wife for sucking up everything laying on the floor. I did wonder where the hamster went?
You can change the brushroll, or remove it and clean/check/oil the bearings but itsa very involved job. Both sides and the top of the head off, then remove the belts and brushroll. No idea where you would find a new one though, you'd be throwing the used dice.
That's what I've done, set a saved ebay and gumtree search. One day one that's broken some other way might be listed, but I imagine they get broken for spares alot, before they get listed I imagine

Thanks Bro, Very helpful 💪👍
Nice job Sam atleast you have some spares for when you find another broken one . 👍👍
Great video highlighting shark quality.
I have the same shark but it keeps toppling over. How can I fix this? It works fine otherwise
Skipped the key part about removing the cover like we wouldn’t notice! Maybe have a trial run before you film so you know where all the screws are.
