You are paying for the form factor of it being more compact and portable, ie the folding handlebars, plus there are 2 other models in the Spider line with the same specs but smaller battery packs, so a notably cheaper price and an even lighter weight, look around for a 60lbs scooter that will hit over 40 mph, and they don't exist outside of this model. 30ah battery pack is large, on average most scooters in this performance range have 20-26ah battery packs.
5:38 Someone else finally mention the spider's eyes looking rear lights ! i almost buy this one but went for the Victor Luxury limited edition with tubeless and nutt brakes, but i love this one look
Yo fellas. Seems like you’re working your way through the whole mini motors store. Please review the dualtron city. I wanna see those 15” tires in action.
I guess they're getting a free pass on the 38" bar height? Dualtron reminds me of the exact opposite of Apollo, where everything is forward thinking, streamlined, cohesive, seamless and tastefully executed by experts who evaluate and analyze the scooter industry continuously. This poor company is frozen in time. Those bars, that goofy display mount, the slapping rear fender with styling completely different from the aesthetics of the overall design, the tubed tires, the $2500 price tag, the latch receptacle sticking up like a spike right where your back foot needs to be, the tedious and ancient double clamp stem. *sigh* It actually feels like 18 different people who never examine the trends of the scooter industry, each picked their own favorite parts from the warehouse and hobbled this thing together... Kudos to the horn, battery pack, twin chargers, bright taillights and thoughtful actual display but unfortunately it's offset by a whole bunch of the most unconventional choices available on the market today. Every time I see a new Dualtron model, I get momentarily excited and hopeful until I see that it's just as mystifyingly odd as its predecessors. The Dualtron MINI was one of the worst scooters I've ever owned mainly due to the stem and chassis flex, it was like riding cardboard. I'd love to enjoy a Dualtron, the problem arises when you compare them to every other quality sport scooter company.
I just don't get how the Dualtron Popular I have is dual 450w motors and a top speed of up to 40mph, and this has dual 1000w motors and a top speed up to 43mph? Any explanation for that?
WTF, the best affordable scooter??? It's 2500, I've seen 40 MPH scooters for 1000 dollars less (Wolf Warrior X Plus) and that does 45mph. I'm confused...
They missed pointing out this scooter is specially targeted at people looking for a smaller and lighter form factor scooter that's easier to transport but still has solid performance, this Spider Max model has nearly a 50% larger battery pack than the WWxPlus, I don't know why they didn't do a range test. It also has folding handlebars, This scooter weighs 10lbs less than the Warrior scooter you mentioned, and if you go with one of the other Spider models which only have smaller battery packs they can get to sub 60lbs.
Based on that double clamp design that goes all the way back to the squishy stem Kaabo's or 3-4 years ago, it almost certainly does have the creak, flex and play that Dualtron's are known for.
I still don’t understand how people buying this.. non wine wave controllers.. they bad: with since-wave you will get much more range and overheat problems go away.. specifically on climbing
We have found the opposite. Most sine wave controllers have overheating issues either at the controller or motor. One of the biggest reasons Dualtron hasn't moved to sine wave controllers is due to the overheating issues found with sine wave controllers.
@@freshlycharged My Dualtron Victor 30A overheated after 1 week of using (it feels first as like a lose of power thrust) and finally controllers transistors were damaged(all blown), riding every day in a city uphills. 85Kg P7=3, P9=3. Then I got Segway P100 which is works like a charm in the same situations for more than a 6 months.
@@freshlycharged Also had overheating issue with the controller on Dualtron MINI... the only scooter I've ever experienced overheating issues with actually.
For that price i can get kugoo g4 max which is faster and better overall :/, this is the only reason why i dislike Dualtron its just they're expensive not really budget friendly but yeah the quality is top notch
There is definitely more budget friendly scooters with higher top speeds. Dualtron is able to charge more with their increased quality and local dealer network.
I use a Dualtron Victor controller, Battery and classic EY3 display on my scooter and I do get overheating especially when I am riding fully unlocked, hopefully the thermal pad I added in today rectifies the issue unless mini motors has a solution that anyone knows of
@@freshlycharged built on a generic zero 10x frame but from a recent video it is the same as a YUME Raptor frame now with 11” tyres fitted Blade GT motors
I’m pretty sure the controller is in footrest (at least that is where the controller is for Spider 2). The controller dissipates heat through the footrest, which has some heatsinking.
Except your Klima Max is a uniform concept from the mind a very astute designer and incorporates many of the best trends and ergonomics in scooters today. Incredible electronics and electronic customization, controllers, motors, brakes, and one of the most sophisticated suspensions ever applied to a 85-90lb class sport scooter. They had the tail light issue but that's been fix with the new fender. The Dualtron looks like 18 different people all went and picked their own favorite 2-3 year old part from the warehouse and gave it to the janitor to assemble. It's just sad that this company still doesn't "get it."
@Patriot36 ahhh I never bought a dualtron one of the main reasons the folding lock mechanism I don't trust that. And nobody wants to change a cartridge to simply adjust suspension that's non sense to do be doing lol. And they pretty overpriced too not budget friendly not that I can't buy any of em. But I'll give it credit for the RGB lighting how it looks compared to other brands looks very cool. Oh I geuss zoom brakes are good don't know much about it but I'm just shocked how they still keep putting zoom brakes over something more superior. Zoom can like leak and sometimes you can't even bleed it iv had that happen to my vsett10+ zooms.
Is it actually that fast? I can grab one now for 1449, but I'm hearing mixed stuff about kaabo quality. I think the new 2024 version may have fixed a lot of issues. Only problem is I don't see the gt version available and 21 ah for the normal version is a little smallish.
Keep with scooters, but a different brand... Why did InMotion send a email trying to justify their $4000 scooter and compared to a Honda Rebel Motorcycle?? Who told them that was a good idea? And the things they was comparing that they thought was their benefit, was NOT a benefit. They tried comparing their Waterproof IP Rating with a gas motorcycle, as if a gas motorcycle can't ride in the rain or will catch fire if wet. That is Electric (Lithium Battery) problems not Gas engine/motor problems. If a Lithium battery get wet it will burn the house down . Then tried to say the scooter is better because it can be controlled by an app...as if people want an app controlling my motorcycle I won't even get into the things they left out of their bias comparison chart that is in Honda's favor. Whoever came up with that on their marketing team should be fired
All these PEVs are overpriced. Don't matter which PEV, e-Bikes, e-Scooters, EUCs, Onewheels, e-Skateboards, none of them should cost more than $2500 and that is about $500 too much.. Many of these PEV companies think they selling street legal motorcycles or gas scooters with these prices they charging. If giving $4,000 to spend on any vehicle, I would buy a PEV. I would get a Brand New Honda or Suzuki scooter or a used Motorcycle
Nobody buys Dualtron @ 2024. The thing is overpriced and outdated, for that cash you can fairly easily find Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro these days brand new, and that is a hyperscooter.
We are glad they are providing a fast charger with purchase. It would be disappointing to have to wait 14 hours to wait for this scooter to charge from empty to full.
It's sad that $2500 is an Affordable Escooter.

I only paid 1699 + free lights upgrade for my Gotrax GX3 and that thing is a bash machine.
And those tires are way too small. Like seriously way too small. It weighs as much as my cargo bikes wtf

Unfortunately... quality doesn't come cheap in America my friend. Honestly it should!
$2500 for TUBED non self healing tires? Dualtron is mental and needs to catch up
only paid 1699 (stacked promotions) for my Gotrax GX3 and it came with 11" tubeless self healers
even regular price it's still only 1999 usually
nowadays $2500 for this kind of specs is really hard to swallow 😂
