Amakusa Shirō Tokisada has returned from the dead. Looking to create a new world order in line with his ideals, he resurrects Minazuki Zankurō and kidnaps a sorceress-in-training, Hazuki, from the Kazama ninja clan to augment his powers. This new awakening has since caused all manner of disasters around the world and once again many warriors hurry to find and destroy the source of evil.

Brings backed my childhood memories I enjoyed playing this on arcades.
Funny thing is that the Poppy that travels with Galford in SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, and the 3D games is not the original Poppy but her puppy/daughter who is now full grown by this point in time cause apparently at the end SSV the prequel to the first SS the original Poppy sacrifices herself to save both Galford and her pup.

amo este genial juego mi favorito el el 4 por que siento que es el que tiene más emoción,además de sus tan geniales personajes hacen que el juego sea casi excelente lo malo es que al ser viejo se siente que se rompe con movimiento especiales pero no le quita que es una joyita.Lo recomiendo muchísimo :D otra cosa el juego es muy difisil :'v pero uff muy chévere.

If i remember correctly, if you sent out Poppy to attack the enemy and the enemy hits Poppy instead, she shrinks and can't fight for a while or so.

Jonathan Diaz Doesn't that happen in this game too? Or does Poppy just disappear? I know the enemy can hit her but i don't remember what happens if he/she does.

I used to finish this game in árcades with galford before 6 minutes.
There are too many Japanese characters in fighting games like in Samurai Showdown IV lol. My favorite character in Samurai Showdown is Galford and in King of Fighters are Korean characters Kim Kaphwan and Chae Lim.

I play on keyboard too, and my favorite is also Galford. However, I always have a hard time doing the replica attack and plasma dog (the one where Poppy brought the guy to the sky then lightning bolt down at 5:54), and I don't think the combo instruction from SNK is correct for a keyboard. So how do you actually cast these 2 skills? This would help me a lot.

I always wondered awhile back, was he trained by Hattori Hanzo...He wears the same attire as Hanzo but without a mask and there fighting skills are pretty much similar. I take that back Galford's skills are quite flashy and Hanzo's skills are well polished
I think they are pretty much the Ken and Ryu of this series. I always thought the story went deeper too, but nope. They did it because Capcom did. Lmiao. 💜

@@Lumeuu do you know how to open the game with borderless window or windowed instead of fullscreen. Whenever I enter the game, i cannot alt+tab or do anything to view desktop instead of quitting the game
I presume you're playing the same version as me? I never found a way to play outside fullscreen in that version. Alt+tab works for me though.
