David , this was an amazing respectful project made by staggering talented people , but I hear you about Old 2D graphics, , , , it would be another awesome project if some hacker-team with strong polygon skills would do a spot for spot remake of first ARCADE TMNT in polygons ,side scrolling , , , , maybe as a N64-ROM , , ,they could use the Fighting Force 64 engine , , ,

NES TMNT as the over world map with the music. a few of those level elements, some of the beatemup elements, it's a great mixture of what us late 80's kids loved... Just having gotten Shredder's Revenge on release day, I can say this one is just about as good as the actual offering from Dotemu...

To beat the game easy: Pick any turtle at the overworld, doesnt matter who they are all the same. Choose the Dojo and finish that area. Choose to be that boss guy for almost the rest of the game. Theres 1 area called Rooftops were that character is just to big and slow, so go any of the smaller ones, theres plenty to choose from by then, just dont choose Velma or Vernon. They are joke characters never to be used seriously.
@@Paulo2k6 yes, they sound the same and would probably be equal when it comes to being useless in a similar game. Though i have nothing against either of them, they are not programmed to make it easy for yourself. Kinda like a Dark Souls deluxe if the desire to brag shows its ugly face.

The "wokes" forgot a thing. Being a hero includes rescuing some people here and there once in a while. This game included many a character, from our beloved sexy TV reporter April and master Splinter, to guys like Fugitoid and the Triceratons. I would mention Aska. I love Aska. I expected Krang to be the final boss, but it's Shredder... A good game indeed. Shared.
