As a layperson and a supporter of the GCMGC, I strongly urge the Tibetan National Sports Association to prioritize the establishment of proper rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines for the tournament. The presence of clear and well-defined standards is essential to ensure fairness and prevent any unwanted and unfair practices in the future.
The current state of confusion and misunderstanding resulting from the lack of proper rules and regulations can hinder the growth and development of the tournament. By engaging with Tibetan football legends, captains, and senior players, the association can tap into their expertise and experiences to collectively establish comprehensive guidelines that address the specific challenges faced by Tibetan football.
These regulations should encompass various aspects of the tournament, including player eligibility, conduct on and off the field, officiating standards, disciplinary procedures, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Such clarity will not only prevent misunderstandings but also foster a more transparent and accountable environment for all participants.
It is vital for the Tibetan National Sports Association to recognize the importance of involving the entire football community in this process. By seeking the input and perspectives of players, captains, and legends, the association can ensure that the regulations truly reflect the needs, values, and aspirations of those involved in Tibetan football.
Moreover, the establishment of proper regulations, procedures, and guidelines will enhance the credibility and reputation of the GCMGC. This will attract more participation from talented players, garner increased interest from fans, and potentially attract sponsors and investors who value an organized and professionally managed tournament.
Ultimately, the call for proper rules and regulations is not only about improving the GCMGC but also about advancing the overall quality and development of Tibetan football. By setting high standards and providing a fair and transparent platform for players, the sport can thrive and inspire future generations to participate and excel.
Therefore, I urge the Tibetan National Sports Association to actively engage with the football community, particularly legends, captains, and senior players, to collaboratively develop and implement proper regulations, procedures, and guidelines. This inclusive approach will not only address the current confusion and misunderstanding but also ensure a brighter and more promising future for the GCMGC and Tibetan football as a whole.
27:10 Here Samdup is talking about Tibetans living in India where Tibetans don't hold citizenship of India and Tibetans are residing in India as a Foreigner. So, for aspiring Tibetan Footballers in India to think of making it a career in India it is very essential for Tibetans to make Indian Passport, for that CTA makes it very hard for Tibetans in India to get Indjan Passport, for those Tibetan Footballers CTA should provide a special permission to make it easy for them to get Indian Passport, Tibetans should broaden their diaspora by making an entry in every field be it singing, acting, professional athlete, If a player gets into professional sport and even if that Tibetan will be representing India but behind that Jersey Tenzin or a Tibetan name will be written not Rahul or Sanjay, that itself will make people curious and search about that player and they will get to know about Tibet and Tibetans. So, it's a win win situation for that Tibetan player and at large Tibetan diaspora.

It’s high time for TNSA members to either solve the conflicts asap or step down voluntarily. And it also a high time for those who takes responsibilities in south region clubs to solve the conflicts with TNSA without bragging about past problems. Sports shouldn’t be mixed with politics, languages and traditions. It is in its own domain.

The reason is playground. Come to south and TNSA you can organize and play continuously

In South, we have numbers of playground which are far much better than TCV ground and no time limited at all. I think all committee members of TNSA should resign because its being worse and so boring when there is no South team.
I think football has become so much important for today's generation. But choosing it as a profession is kind of wrong(bit impossible).Most of our brothers and sisters play for their health and for their enjoyment. So i personally request each and everyone not to take it to that level which divide our people, peace and country. It is a game and just play the game. I love you all, stop making football as OXygeñ.
💯 people are taking this way too serious at the point where they are acting like Tibetan government should invest all of their energy to promote their cause through football. That sounds ridiculous and people should just tone down on once a year cup. And why in the hell we need national soccer team? Why? There’s much more problems million times bigger than soccer. Stop it people. Play for fun and go home, do some education instead of this toxic sports culture 🤦🏽♂️

Solution to let 5 south teams play at GCM.
1. to built a national football stadium.
2. Looking for more sponsors.
If not possible for near future.
1. Let the south teams play qualifications and choose the best 3-4 teams for GCM.

The root cause of South team did not participate in GCMGC is the unnecessary strong attachment to Shichak's name-fame and failure of collaboration among the Shichaks to produce regional team as mandated by the TNSAs criteria. The plight of South team and most importantly players opportunity to play GCMGC in Gyalyum Chemo's memory and the same level door that opens for those South team players to participate in Tibet National Team selection were stripped by some egomaniac bureaucrats. The bureaucracy in sports has to stop and give a way to players to play GCMGC next time onwards.
GCMGC reputation is not also same like before,level of competition is lower then south cup we r asking let us represent at least one team from one shichak since we have population more then 10000 per shichak u r comparing us with small shichak bro u have idea how competitive it is to get select in south shichak team
All Himachal shichak population is same as one Bylakuppe shichak

23 teams participated in 2023 Silver Jubilee GMC GC football Tournament in Dharamsala.
Come and organize continuesly a month or a year also. Why TNSA is organizing northern side only. There is no issue.

First explain to me, why 45% of Tibetan population settled in west has only 2 Chitue votes and 55% of Tibetans settled in India has 10 voting rights.
Explain to me , Why monks have two voting rights- one based on religion and one based on Cholkha.
If you are okay with that big thing, then why you got a problem to play qualification and send the 3-4 best teams to represent south, irrespective of population size;
(Even England believes they have so many good teams , but only 4 qualify to go to Champoins League)

@@xnei388 In Tibetan community, football is not only a sport but a passion for many players and viewers just like cricket in India. We wanted South teams to participate and Our home minister in exile along with south settlement representative with their football board members held meeting. They resolved the issue now n m happy as a viewer n sports lover that south team will surely participate in the coming year and m very thankful to the media RFA, Tibet TV, VOA and others for connecting TNSA members and players and becoming a bridge over the troubled water.

The administration of gcmgc changed a lot for worse under the present administration. Why? Does he want to destroy the hard works of the pioneers of the tournament.
Samdrup said that player getting 10k to 20k for one match.. but i heard that dekyiling fc paid him 50k in previous gcmgc and this time dhasa fc paid him around 80k... If m not wrong ... if Anybody know about that better... Write down .
such lame excuse. if the intention of the person is to provide a better future for TIbetan footballer then there is always a solution. Plus its been going on for 3years. I hope people who organise or lead this events should not take this so lightly as Tibetan considering this as an important tournament. Him saying stuff like they dont have much time like they have selected only from people who participated in GCM. Our TNSA is run by educated brain but influence by politics. Don’t mix politics with sports. If action was taken against Shimla FC team and there players than why not against all the teams from south and there players? Being bias is and was a part TNSA since beginning. No work towards improving football field and our national team. Always asking donations and looking for profit and yet in TNSA insta Bio says non profit organisation. What a joke stop fooling people ans start implementing perfect plans to improve tournament quality and provide perfect platform for the players to perform.

Plz don't compare with the players n team during 90's n 00. Where players have a lots of qualities n skills but there is no platform or media which now a days exist. Regardless to the players playing in Indian league is not a new one. Lots of Tibetans boys from northeast have played at that level but not any support from our community nor from existing TNSA.
