28th GCM kicked off in Dharamshala without any teams from South India's Tibetan settlements. There is also a growing call from certain sections of players to limit players who play for teams other than their home/settlement team. 3 Tibetan national team players and Ladakh captain share their thoughts.

Ladakh Captian is not afraid to speak the truth. TNSA needs to listen to players and solve whatever ongoing issues ASAP. Please have a group interview of South players, Shimla FC players, and TNSA altogether.

It was a productive discussion. TNSA should do separate selections from south also for national team . This should be considered into consideration seriously. Team Tibet is abt Whole community representation. It shouldn’t not be north or south. TNSA should build good reputation of TEAM TIBET .
Do we need new TNSA which is called TNSA South ? It’s easy as piece of cake to form new TNSA.. will wait and see.
Bylakuppe also have good players and it’s very sad to see that they are not going to select in national team. That boy from ladakh is really honest and to the point. TNS has to think well and if this time even if south team not played, but I think they know which players do good.

Ladakh captain spokes truth and out spoken. Tnsa belongs and represents whole 6 million Tibetan and not just few of management. Current Management might be doing ok but they made so many brutal and unfair decision like suspending Shimla FC and not negotiate with south team etc. tnsa think and act as people of His Holiness.

It’s a shame on TNSA officials either corrupt or egocentric that’s why unable to bring in whole Tibetans for selection of National Team.. also South Cup is better organized.. anybody can watch south cup & compare.
It’s not a big issue. We should expect change and growth in this tournament. Sadly, Tibetan players could not play other tournaments. So we should make this tournament advance. Player transfers, stats and player value should be given priority. If a team can afford buying players then it’s okay. Other team should also learn and adapt. At the end we are playing for the name and fame of our own community. So we should accept the change and growth of this tournament. There are team who have indian coach, Australia have foreign coach so it’s all good in my opinion.
5.1 ,not only about Nuba ,south tibetan has a largest population of Tibetan living ,eg -mungod one cam has same population in 4 camp in Pokhara .so how many camp in Mungod,south team has been on top like few years ago while from Nepal it was ages ago playing beautiful football and Pokhara player has contributed lot in national team for almost decade in past

Yes buying player from other settlement is one of good transaction and growth in football platforms but giving opportunities to own place’s player is more important. It’s truth that GCM is not the place to earn the money or the best players only can perform. There are many players in the ground who are not getting the opportunity because they buy the other shichak players. Support to Ladhak and its truth he spoke.

hearing point and opinion from who actually play on ground is very good n if TNSA can actually listen then surely our players will have growth.
aside from everything, what i really enjoyed most is, the players are playing better , be it position, passing, sportsmanship. its not best but slowly we are doing better and it is a growth of whole community.
I happen to explain what GCM is to one tourist as we were watching live, and his family was very impressed. i absolutely feel so proud because despite being in exile, we really come far, far enough to host football match . But yes, we still have so many rooms to fill for improvement.

As a layperson and a supporter of the GCMGC, I strongly urge the Tibetan National Sports Association to prioritize the establishment of proper rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines for the tournament. The presence of clear and well-defined standards is essential to ensure fairness and prevent any unwanted and unfair practices in the future.
The current state of confusion and misunderstanding resulting from the lack of proper rules and regulations can hinder the growth and development of the tournament. By engaging with Tibetan football legends, captains, and senior players, the association can tap into their expertise and experiences to collectively establish comprehensive guidelines that address the specific challenges faced by Tibetan football.
These regulations should encompass various aspects of the tournament, including player eligibility, conduct on and off the field, officiating standards, disciplinary procedures, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Such clarity will not only prevent misunderstandings but also foster a more transparent and accountable environment for all participants.
It is vital for the Tibetan National Sports Association to recognize the importance of involving the entire football community in this process. By seeking the input and perspectives of players, captains, and legends, the association can ensure that the regulations truly reflect the needs, values, and aspirations of those involved in Tibetan football.
Moreover, the establishment of proper regulations, procedures, and guidelines will enhance the credibility and reputation of the GCMGC. This will attract more participation from talented players, garner increased interest from fans, and potentially attract sponsors and investors who value an organized and professionally managed tournament.
Ultimately, the call for proper rules and regulations is not only about improving the GCMGC but also about advancing the overall quality and development of Tibetan football. Therefore, I urge the Tibetan National Sports Association to actively engage with the football community, particularly legends, captains, and senior players, to collaboratively develop and implement proper regulations, procedures, and guidelines. This inclusive approach will not only address the current confusion and misunderstanding but also ensure a brighter and more promising future for the GCMGC and Tibetan football as a whole.
Good discussions but it’s not gonna bring any change if the TNSA remain deaf to the complains. It’s obviously not fair and transparent if the good teams from south India with the biggest representation of the Tibetans in India are not taking part in such top ranked Tibetan tournament. Even in this tournament, there is a visible and palpable mark of regional division amongst the Tibetans. Such a tournament is a grand sport festival, let’s enjoy equality and let the authentically BEST TEAM win. Overall I extend my sincere admiration and recognition to TNSA to take the tournament with LIVE TRANSMISSIONS to a higher level. Let’s all the good teams take part in it. Bhod Gyalo.

The primary direction of a Tibetan football club should be to include a competent professional coach who will facilitate the player with professionalism and will enable the overall development of the player and club.
I am very proud of my niece @pema dechen who is in her 3rd year college in Delhi who sponsored Team Ladakh Jersey and Food expenses for GCM 2023.

Football politics is ruining the vision of GCMGC. We have to think of the greater good. South team should be given opportunity to express their opinions and we need a better approach to conflict resolution. People who are in power and authority should know what negative impact it will generate if they don’t let go of their ego. Gcm 2023 was awesome but could have been better with south team participation. After all the purpose of football is to unite all Tibetans brothers and sisters. If football started creating differences then it defeats the purpose. Similarly banning Shimla team from gcm is not the right way to deal with the problem. HHDL has said 21st century is a century of dialogue. We have to resolve problem with good faith and pure heart. It will be solved immediately. Still if it can’t be solved then call me 🤙, I will solve it.
